  • Oh, please do! I'd love to see this type of formatting more on Smogon!
Trade threads as they are right now are an utter mess. -_-
You're definitely right about Google Sites' limitations. It worked as a good default when I didn't know where else to go, but I checked out HelioHost just now and it already looks like an infinitely more open and capable system. Thanks for the suggestion!
    Sure, sounds good!
Local browsing works too, but I personally like being able to access my trade thread stock from any computer and have it backed up on the Google servers :)
Haha, thanks! I'm really glad you like my formatting I'd be extra-glad if more people used it :D
Unfortunately, Smogon doesn't allow HTML at all, (I unsuccessfully appealed to that a while back, HERE) so the only option is to host the HTML elsewhere, like Google Sites (like I did). You can then use an online service or a program to convert the processed HTML to an image, but the easiest way is to just take a screenshot of the webpage and crop the images in your image editor of choice. Host the images on a site like Photobucket and then you can use standard IMG code to put the images in posts. It sounds like a lot of work, but it's really not. The whole process takes about three minutes if you've got your Pokemon's info already typed up.
I'm still using a Japanese ROM as my timer0 range is from A77-A78 as the rest are based on similar values. DS-lite parameters seem to change from one to another still.
    Can't say that I do.
Maybe if you made it in dream weaver and then screenshot'd it?
Hmm, it looks complicated, I've never seen such a format before, you should ask iambaney about it.
Are you available to trade the Eevee and Togepi from your giveaway?
    If so, Black FC: 4083 4923 5472.
Did you make banners for your thread?
    yes.
    Also are you from thailand?
    yes.
What levels should the five pokemon be?
    Nidoqueen 50
    Nidoking 50
    Politoed 50
    Stoutland 50
    Cryogonal 50
    Oh, Thanks! XD
The templates I wrote up are at the bottom of this page if you want to "view source" and steal the HTML. :) Unless I inadvertently messed with them in the WYSIWYG editor, the HTML source for those tables is the leanest it can possibly be.

The trick is to have each pokemon be its own isolated table and just normalize the dimensions so it looks like it's one big table when they're all side-by-side. But with everything separate, it's really fast and easy to insert new pokemon or rearrange things in whatever order I want. I thought about writing a script that auto-generates images like this given user-input pokemon data, but I didn't think there'd be a big enough audience for it to be worth my time. :/
