Research is pretty much a requirement in the US if you want a decent chance at getting into a good med school. Personally, I think it's BS for med schools to require it, since doing research really has nothing to do with being a good doctor. I mean, some doctors do research too, but it's not as if it's in a normal doctor's job description. That said, I'd probably do it even if it weren't a requirement, because it's fun lol
My boyfriend is doing well-- he's just about to start on a paleo contract, which is great. Oh, and he;s kicking ass on the battle subway lol -
