Pretty much any gen except black/white gen :P So stuff like Legendary Dogs/Birds that are shiny, flawless or near flawless and nicknamed to B/W format mainly.

Shiny 4th gen legendaries that MUST be nicknamed to lowercase names with the first letter being capital. Ex. DARKRAI to Darkrai. I need pretty much all legendaries except Deoxys, Latias and Latios.

Also, the person who was going to help me set up gts distro tells me that my internet provider is the problem, so I'm unable to set up public gts distribution :(

Likewise. I live in Kansas. All I did was call the 800 number for customer support. 1-800-255-3700. If your DS is over 1 year old, lie, and tell them it isn't. If they ask for proof of purchase, tell them it was a gift, and you don't have the receipt. It worked for me.
Does the DS still appear new or wiped clean to appear new? If yes, Nintendo will repair it for free. I did it once.
I had an AR in my pocket with some change, and failed to notice the nickle wedged in it before turning the DS on. Fried the internal battery, and wouldn't recharge.
They repaired it. I omitted why it happened though.
Going all redneck here, but have you tried pushing a cart into the slot hard, and then duct taping it into place.
