Okay, it is just a random chatot I caught on platinum to use for 5th gen rn, and lol I thought you had these already as they are essential to advance RNG, saves will take forever for high PID frames. Meet you online.

Use chatot's as they are consistent the turns/steps to check PID can lead to extra frame advancements as I have tetsed this before. I once tried to advance 500 frames by just turns, but they created extra frames for me. If you need chatots let me know as I can trade you 2 that will help tremendously.

Yea man, anytime. I think I'ma go back to 4th gen RNG since I'm almost done with 5th gen. My last obstacle since I got the hang of RNGing shaky grass/bubble spot/dust cloud shinies now, will be Naive Shiny Thundurus which I havent seen any to trade for, but I haven't checked many people's threads much. I want to catch one for my own as a last challenge.

Compared to the delays in 4th Gen, 5th is a walk in the park, specially for shiny captures. You'll get it I have no doubt. After you get a little used to it, be sure to rng your ID/SID and I can help you with that if you need it. That way you can get shinies on a frame 1 and any slot you wish. Good luck.

You can't go by another person's timer 0 as that is somewhat unique depending on your MAC address + other stuff I think, so I can't replicate your timer0. Yea, don't give up, I'm sure with this kind of path you will get consistent results or find a pace you feel comfortable just don't go to fast a.k.a turn then walk a step do not turn and step at the same time.

No I can't exactly confirm the 1182 since I can't generate the same results you have as I don't get that spread after 128 steps with 3 pokes with that time/date/no keypresses you gave me since I don;t have your timer 0. However I landed on the same poke 3 times just after I finished the route then sweet scented. Also after 1 chatot advancement, I landed on the next same poke after 1 frame advance twice. The point is I got consistently results, which the route I gave you or any other that is "controlled" can give consistent results.

Okay, so apparently you do need identical timer0 to go about the same way (makes sense lol), cause I don't get that 30/14/30/31/30/31 spread at the time, date, and no keypresses like you said. However i went on my route and I did get the same pokemon all 3 times I did the route and just sweet-scented, so with these style of route you should be able to consistently hit your starting frame unless your timer0 shifts.

No you'll just find your starting frame, which should be 310-330 somewhere

Do you want to follow my route? So we can both have some "control" to this capture? If you are willing, go outside of Victory the door that leads to 1F1. Enter, take one step right, 3 up/north, you should hit that rock now, after which face west. Save your game.

You are now in a 4 step path. You will walk slowly (don't run) 4 step left to hit west wall, turn around by gently pressing right, walk 4 steps right to hit east wall, and then press left gently again to turn facing west and repeat the scenario

If you count touching each wall a "walk line" you will do 32 line walks (4 x 32 = 128) and you will turn/turnaround 31 times as when your 128 steps are over you will be at the same spot you starter touching that rock only facing east (when you began you saved facing west).

Also you said no keypresses but what is the date and time fo the seed?

Seems you are doing everything right, but I'll try to do this same capture as well. I have C7F timer0 but that shouldn't affect the results as everything you said the seed starting frame being 38, 296 PID is Adamant slot 0, and PID 1182 is mild slot 9.

Can you give me the Kepresses if there are any to try this seed out? Also your spread of 30/14/30/31/30/31 HP Bug 70 is IV seed 4, so 3 pokes in part when walking 128 steps.

Soccer is indeed the main sport here, most kids play it and most people obsess about It.. sadly our national team is.. bad, really bad xD
And yea, It's good to find pepole with the same interests, but It's also sad that they are really rare.

Many people here also play CoD, half of my class is obsessed with It.. and with Warcraft also. I don't like FPS games, and I'm not that challenge oriented.. but I just love playing. I'm not that good when It comes to most games, but I just enjoy playing.. even when I lose ;)

Oh well, maybe you will get other opportunities to go to some other interesting events ;)
Sadly I'm not and I will not be able to go to any VGC and any pokemon related event for the upcoming time.. in my country (Poland) pokemon and nintendo are really unpopular (how I hate when PSP fanboys laught at me for playing "child games", It makes me wanna punch them). My main option to play pokemon and games I like is the internet.. and sometimes I find like 3-4 people to play with at anime conventions.

Yep, 5th gen. Actually non c-gear is easier ( for me anyway ) so I don't think It would be a problem for you ;)
And yea, school.. the end of the school year is near and I have to worry about my grades, I hate this time of the year.

The problem is that to get to the shiny frame I have to figure out my starting frame.. and I usually get a combination of nature, gender, ability and characteristic that doesn't match any of the first 300 frames ( and normaly starting frames are between 40-70 I believe). Even If I know that the shiny frame is let's say 350.. I can't get there because I have no idea how much frames I have to advance.
Oh well, maybe I will figure It out someday.. either I'm doing something wrong or the reporter is still not 100% completed and doesn't like me ( or he just doesn't like being emulated under Linux, what I'm forced to do to use It).

I do know my SID, but for some strange reason I can never find what is my starting PID frame when I RNG. I have no problems with hitting the IV frame correctly though. I plan to wait untill I have at least 20 pokes RNGed by me before I make a thread.

And I do understand and use that method, but how is It named? I would prefer to just say "cloned thought *here insert the method*" than write a long explanation for It.

I'm not really able to do anything suspicious. I learned lately how to RNG for good IVs ( at the moment got 6 great pokes from that ) but I have no skill at shinies.
I will probably have to make a trade thread to make good trades here.. do you know how the cloning method that involves using a fake GTS to get your poke many times is called? If I understand right I will have to post how I clone but I don't know how to call It xD
