Yeah, first you have to wait 6 real time hours after doing all the steps and slathering the tree. Then, once the tree is shaking, you can hit your shiny seed and get munchlax :)

You hit your IV/Shiny seed after the tree is shaking (IE 6 hours after you slather it with honey) But in order for it to be munchlax, you need to follow the steps I outlined earlier.

Alright, what you'd do is hit a random seed (doesn't matter really) after rebattling and stopping all moving NPCs on route 208 with the vs seeker and saving in front of the honey tree. After you find what seed you hit, take the last four digits of frame one of method 1 and convert that number to decimal. Then divide that by 656 and ignore any remainders. You want this number to be 0.XXXX..., where any "X" number doesn't matter (Essentially, you need the number that you convert to decimal to be less than 656 once the conversion is complete).

If it ISN'T 0, go up through the frames and find one that is. you need to be on the frame before that one when you slather the tree with honey.

Also, since it doesn't matter what seed you hit before slathering the tree, only that the number / 656 = 0, you can re-hit and try another seed if you don't find any low frames that result in 0.

OK found your trees; they are:

Eterna Forest (Cut shortcut)
Route 206
Route 208
Route 209

Route 208 is your best bet, as all npcs in that area can be stopped by the VS seeker.
