While RNGing SID in emerald, I am jumping ~50000 frames while just advancing one frame. Is it normal?

I'm fairly certain I followed the guide perfectly, step by step, but I might try it again later and see.
I'm running 3 GB of RAM and a dual core at 2.0 GHz. I dunno how those specs run with a VBA. What do you think?
i see thanks. and, actually the only reason i wanted to abuse in fr/lg, aside from mewtwo and the deoxys forms is that i want to use a legit high iv zapdos in battle frontier emerald. :)

Though in your opinion is 450% too slow to RNG abuse Emerald? That's how fast my laptop runs it.
I'm mostly done with RNGing yeah. If people need help I can do that but I probably won't be doing RNGing for a while, if at all. I'm too busy playing CoD: Black Ops on X-Box live now, haha.
If I do, it's when I get a laptop/PC that can run VBA at 1000% so I can try Emerald RNG. Why do you ask?
also, when you abuse for stationary legends in emerald, does it follow the same frame advancement in fr/lg? im thinking of catching 31 iv zapdos in firered.
