  • Sorry but I don't know much at all about 4th gen RNG though I intend to start learning soon. I bet someone could help you though if you posted in the Most gen RNG Help thread.

    I can help you do it, since I'm at home for the summer I can borrow my brother's DS and soulsilver to transfer the old fashion way :)

    I have no clue. I have Black instead of White anyway. I do remember reading that they expected it to be supported soon but they say that about a lot of stuff. I think getting a flawless one wouldn't be too hard but a shiny is probably impossible outside of a great deal of luck for now since you don't know what to search for.
    Good! I wish I'd suggested that sooner now. Thank you for being patient with all of my questions and such. You have a solid understanding of how this stuff works which most of the people that ask me stuff don't.
    I highly doubt it's the seed and figure it is much more likely to be the NPCs. I'd try saving since that puts them in a different starting place which in this case is usually more consistent. Rarely do NPCs cause any variance in the starting frame. Anyway, I hope you get it figured out.
    You can either try it once using 55 as your starting frame now or before you do any more you could make sure you've fought all of the trainers in the area and make a new save which would put the NPCs in different places where they hopefully will be more consistent. You just hit 55 and you were hitting 61, I assume from the same save, so there has to be some variance in how far they manage to advance it before you get your menu up. I have only had to do this once in the Desert Resort. I'm sorry but this is all I can think of without being able to do it myself and it seems like that wouldn't help either. :/
    OK, will you catch that first one agin for me and give me its lvl, characteristic, and stats. If you don't want to, I understand since it's just going to be repeating what you've done already. I really think that some of the results you are getting are from a different seed. It shouldn't take more than two captures for me to be convinced though.
    If it's the only one from the search then that's not your problem. Figured but I had to check. What area are you RNGing in?
    I know it doesn't. I'm just trying to make sure I understand everything that's going on correctly. It's hard not being able to see it. This will sound silly but it has been the problem for other people with the same issue; Triple check that the seed you have entered into your PID window is the same one you are using for your time, date, and keypresses. A different seed that is flawless would give you this problem. I'm not saying that is the problem but it could be.
    So when you enter the game, you spam X to get to the menu as fast as possible, and then sweet scent, and catch a gentle, flawless Solosis?
    I may. :) I'm not convinced yet. 61 flips hitting 120 makes no sense at all if you had a gentle solosis at the beginning and you checked its ivs. One of them is almost certainly a different seed.
    I bet you lunch that Minchinno is a level 20. :) Which would put your starting frame at 65. Making the Quiet Solosis 65 away on 130. 61 chatters is what you need after all.
