    Some of the block Pokemon are like that, mainly the smaller block/no day advancement Pokemon.
    As for the higher block/day Pokemon are on a higher encounter slot, from what I've seen.

    I don't know what to do first, so that's what I'm talking to Toast.

    Will do, I'm hoping Toast and I can figure something out! So that it won't be such guess work any more! That we can find set encounter slot values, as it follows some sort of encounter slots, as you don't get a random Pokemon on one frame. It's always the same for that frame unless if the blocks or time is differed in which case it might not change even then. So hopefully we stumble upon something.

    Awesome, because I most likely will have to do a Frame 1 and Frame 2 Sweet Scent bit as it can advance differently.
    I might do the testing for seeds on an English game so I can use the code and stuff.

    well this where our path diverse, I have only abuse during rain and snow so I am of no help from here on out, sorry.

    I wouldn't recommend using the pid%6 method you have a better chance catching a non shiny roamer than finding its frame and abusing your id so on the next play through its shiny, well anyway good luck.

    the weather did not matter with the method I used but I assume it would be during summer and autumn months, these months have no weather.

    Oh, I didn't know that walking to it had a chance of not advancing the frame. I'm guessing that it takes less than 128 steps to reach it, and for those whose frame got advanced, since the counter doesn't reset every time you start the game, they probably started with few steps remaining to advance the frame.

    How many steps are there from the outside of Whirl Islands to Lugia's spot? I'd like to RNG it on my Japanese SoulSilver cart.
