Have you ever used the Double.parseDouble( string s ) method on your computer? I think that is the one that is messing up on the create Timer? If you don't know, I'll just write a program to catch some stuff and figure out what is going on.

Ok, this means I can patch up the software and re-release it for you, and only change the conversion algorithms. That will make the process a LOT easier. Do you know any programming? (It would make this faster if you do, but it isn't required.)
50 and 100 work on my version, so it is something specific about yours. I'll work on a new version as soon as I can (hopefully while I watch NCAA today). If you plug positive numbers into Timer 1 and Timer 2 and hit start, what happens?
I assume you have PikaTimer 2.0? I can make a special version that pops up messages throughout the process, so that we can figure out where it goes wrong. As for the "Errors in: Calibrate Time," that message is only displayed when the program tries to convert the string in the box to a number and fails. It for some reason is not recognizing the characters you are typing in. If you are willing to work some with me, I can probably get it fixed.
I developed it on Vista, so that is indeed strange. Does the button stay depressed, or does it come back?
That is odd... The last time Java added features that I use was Java 5.0. Just out of curiosity, what three OS's did you try?
My best guess at the moment is that there is a line of code in the Timer class constructor that is incompatible with older versions of the Java VM. I'll keep working on it, but it works fine on most computers, so it must be a compatibility issue of some kind.
