  • That's okay, I just thought I'd tell you I couldn't respond with a VM. :3

So my shiny is a Snorlax I accidentally soft-resetted when I was trying to get a female. I was on campus, after a class and I was waiting for the bus when I decided to SR the Snorlax outside Vermillion City. I had SRed about 3 times when I heard the bus coming and looked up. I looked down to see if it was female and I saw it was shiny. I almost had a heart attack as I NEVER EVER find shinies like this. An epic battle ensued, with me trying to keep it's health low without killing it or using my Master Ball. In the end I triumphed; and had a shiny new Snorlax named Pillow who now resides in my 5th Gen games. :3
    nincada

    give me an answer plz

also, just because I don't say doesn't mean it's grounds for a mod to do something.

    y u threaten? 3:>
you not answering makes me very suspicious. Like I said, theres a formula for determining shinies, I have a variable that otherwise makes shinies more common. What it is, specifically is not determined
I get them with my emerald :D

all there is to it. Like I said, my emerald magically has a higher chance of shinies.

and yes, as I hinted at with the shauntal reference, I do my math. Something is making it do that, though what is, specifically, is not yet determined. I have hunches, and ruled out possibilities, but I'll not go in-depth.

    Now answer, > or < for a nincada? :3
lololol you really make me lol...

I'm wondering I should tell you, or talk about eviolite shelgon.

    OK, OK, OK
well, it's legit, and exclusive to meh.

"do you know how shinies are determined?" he said with an evil grin and a dastardly gaze.

    lol copy shauntal :P
none of my pokes are hacked. I have my suspicions of certain traded pokes, but none of my shinies are hacked *note:cannot vouch for gts pokes* and I have no way of trading anything to and from emerald anyway, and I wouldn't offer stuff I'm suspicious of. (if they asked, I'd give them fair warning anyway) (especially in the case of my traded non shiny arceus met at a route at lv 50) [its useful in-game, plus just abandoning it is a bad idea to me, hacks screw games upon use, if trading, it's all ok]
    looooooooool.

    is that so important?

    it's not on command, it's more like 8172 becoming a lower #
    hacks? HACKS?

Every single pkmn I have is either traded, caught, hatched, or received via event. Nothing else, and with just that I end up where I am today with a shiny arceus (I forgot about him, he was traded, hes me 11th shiny)

@modest: couldn't be bothered to go back and check your vulpix, but since you have the pkmn you have, I assumed you had one (u hav shiny perfect iv pokes with egg moves)

It's not random, although it isn't guaranteed either. It's not glitched or hacked.
IDK how to RNG, Iv'e touched neither gameshark, AR, nor any other 3rd party device.

    like I said:*evil laugh*

So yes or no as to more credits?
er... 2 and 1000 is a big difference.

    It's lv50...

I trained most of my shinies, tho ive been hunting for a shiny nincada lately (in emerald, since I find shinies there 5 times more than I do otherwise, for some reason) if I find it, I'll bring it to u.

LOL shiny nincada=2 shinies upon evolution. Out of curiosity, would that be worth more?
i told you i screwed the chronology. Not interested anymore? What of Gardevoir? It was bred in emerald
