  1. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer.

Talking to the Hikers don't count towards your total. And, you can only encounter other people in the Underground using DS Wireless, not WiFi. From OmegaDonut's original research thread: Type-Boosting Items (Charcoal, Magnet, Aruseus' Plates, etc.): Now boost 20% instead of the old 10%.
  2. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer.

No; almost all other Heat Wave users are in the Ground breeding group. Keep in mind that Flamethrower's better accuracy is usually preferred to Heat Wave's insignificant extra power. You have to go to the move relearner for Dragonite to learn Thunderpunch or Fire Punch. If it did learn these...
  3. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer.

Breed Sneasel with Zangoose - it gets Pursuit via Level-up, and Ice Punch via Emerald Move Tutor.
  4. Most Effective Type Coverage

Mamoswine is also immune to Electric - but weak to Grass, Fire, Water, Steel, and Fighting.
  5. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer.

Hitmonchan isn't compatible with Sneasel. Zangoose is in the Ground egg group, and can learn Pursuit via level-up and Ice Punch via Emerald Tutor.
  6. Status moves and immunities

Paralysis cuts the affected Pokemon's speed by a quarter, so it's a 75% reduction.
  7. READ FIRST: Discussion Index

Blastoise: [Discussion Thread] Golem: [Discussion Thread] Granbull: [Discussion Thread] Qwilfish: [Discussion Thread] Deoxys-L: [Discussion Thread] ------ In retrospect it sounds unnecessary...the aim was to differentiate individual thread links for a single Pokemon, but the uniformity we have...

Just a few gaps to fill (these are for Pokemon who currently have no links): ------ Skarmory [Discussion Thread] [Discussion Thread] [Discussion Thread] Ho-oh [Discussion Thread] Swalot [Discussion Thread] *the OP does not follow the proper format, but the ensuing discussion is...
  9. Look Ma, No Hands! ~Machamp Discussion

    ...Cross Chop has 80% accuracy.
  10. A quick edit on a previously posted team.. (RMT)

Drapion's Dark typing makes it immune to Psychic attacks. Its Poison typing also provides a Fighting resistance.
  11. Torkoal Discussion

Rapid Spin and Stealth Rock give it a new dimension, with its ability now to spin and spike. Will-O-Wisp also enhances its role as a supporter. Torkoal did gain a lot comparatively with the advent of DP, but these changes are nothing incredible. Torkoal @ Leftovers Trait: White Smoke ~Stealth...
  12. One Tough Dino - Bastiodon Discussion

Out of interest, I went to Sketch Struggle.
  13. Been Wondering?................

I would imagine that the focus at the moment is on getting Competitor out; after all, the primary use of Smogon's movesets and articles is for online battling. Nicar is right - the threads in this forum regarding individual Pokemon will give you a good idea of the material (especially movesets)...
  14. One Tough Dino - Bastiodon Discussion

Apparently, Wikipedia is more specific about Struggle than Serebii: Due to the move Struggle's lack of a type, many people categorize it as a ???-type move though this is unofficial (Struggle is listed in the Official Nintendo Power Players' Guides as a Normal-type move). A Pokémon immune to...
  15. Are YOU using CBvile?

Weavile's CB'd Ice Shard actually fails to guarantee a OHKO on Aerodactyl: Weavile [558 Atk, Ice Shard] > Aerodactyl [186 SpDef, 302 HP]: 260-306 damage = 86-101% damage. Edit: Zangoose can learn both Pursuit (Level Up) and Ice Punch (Emerald Tutor) in Advance, and it's compatible with...
  16. Implications of Sandstorm discussion.

No; TRE stated that Sandstorm only boosts the SpDef of Rock types.
  17. First Competetive Team Please Help

Screech Flygon forces switches for Flygon itself to take advantage of, with prediction. It doesn't work like Baton Pass. Grass Knot on Manaphy has 20 BP; Alakazam's Grass Knot deals 15-18% damage to Manaphy. Edit: Yes, U-Turn negates Mean Look's trapping effect.
  18. Firey Hot KFC (Blaziken Disc.)

Unfortunately, Tail Wind only lasts 3 turns. Agilitypassing would work better.
  19. Adaptivate: Porygon-Z Discussion

Conversion2 makes Porygon-Z resistant to the last move used by the opponent, so it's a 'defensive change'. It's still very situational, and is actually easier to deal with than Conversion, as the latter is more unpredictable. You're thinking of Metal Burst, which is only learned by Aggron and...
  20. Jolteon Discussion

Charge Beam's effect rate is actually 70%. Its base power is 50. BP'ing Charge Beam is really redundant with CM passing available as an option (for other Pokemon, obviously). Jolteon should only ever be passing Agility; keep in mind that Charge Beam is almost as weak as Thundershock.
