Hey fellow UU-ers!
So with those fancy new tier drops that we're patiently waiting on projected to join our ranks here in the next couple of days, many of us don't want to wait much longer. After some excited discussion, I decided to run this tourney to give us a chance to test the usage of these Pokemon before they arrive at our doorstep. With PO having Metagross set to join their ranks, this tournament will also include Metagross, mostly for the hell of it. If it's usage continues on the path its on, we'll be seeing it in 2013 anyways. The battles will be held at Pokemon Showdown!, and matches should be arranged via VM/PM here at the forums, or at #genvuu. If you're up for the challenge, post "in"!

The Rules:
- All standard UU rules apply
- All standard Smogon tournament rules apply.
- Snow Warning is banned from the tier, so Abomasnow's ability will be set to Soundproof. Failure to do so will result in ejection from the tournament.
- All battles will be a best-of-three.
- Besides posting the match's result, please also report your findings and opinion on what works well in the themed metagames.
- Since the tournament will be regulated in this thread, it's not necessary to post activity posts unless unforeseen events occur.
- Since this is a mini-tournament, rounds will last no more than 3 days.
- Unfinished battles will be decided by a coin toss.
