part 1 (pages 1-3)
rvs on ds here is actually really useful because I've done it to him before so I felt like I had a pretty good read of what DS might do which in either case would be to blow up and either resort to logic in which case he'd be town or resort to ate in which I could get an early scum read on him. him not responding at all threw a monkey wrench in that idea.

these are honestly just filler posts, and tbh a lot of time using playing differently as an excuse for differences in their scum game so clarinet saying that pinged me just a bit.
we've been over this, for right or wrong I think your opening posts were at least moderately good and its worth it to mention that here
yep as stated before, town ds is going to tunnel me there and use hyperlegalistic logic to back it up (ie: something along the lines of "how could you know that that's the best way to start the game", or something like that, and scum ds is just going to use ate here. instead he kinda just ignored me and focused on energy voting him instead.
dusk vs me tunnel early d1
Tbh I was kinda hoping that I'd get the chance to play scum again because I feel that my scum game has gotten significantly better than the last time that I've played on Smogon and ppl kinda called me shit in the New World mafia post-game. My scum play on mafia 451 netted me a perfect win in a ranked game which kinda makes me feel like if I rolled scum on smogon again and I tried to go deep rather than power scumming that I'd be able to do much better and really just show everybody that I have it in me.
After I mention that I wanted to roll scum duskfall just immediately death tunnels in on me which is extremely bizarre but ngl he has started doing these weird 'Freudian style' tests (like last game on mafia 451 he called me lock town before I posted anything which he then used to give me a real tr) at the start of the game because he thinks he's some kind of god at reading me and I won't even deny that he has a good read on me which is part of the reason why him getting me so wrong so early on is so damning of him fmpov.
It's like he isn't even listening to what I'm saying here, and he's just trying to bait me to slip but I'm not even really convinced that town!duskfall even believes in slips, but tbh idk. Either way him trying to accuse me of slipping for saying that I WISH that I rolled scum early on is just fucking bizarre and I feel like this death tunnel from duskfall threw off my mojo for the entire early game.
btw DS responding to Energy d1 and not me was weird but not neccesarily a ping just because I just got through with that giant ranked game on 451 and the resulting drama so I could kinda believe that DS didn't want to talk to me but it wasn't really ai either way in hindsight just because DS would play into that as either alignment.

Dusk immediately defended DS for the energy post presented above. I personally thought energy trying to angleshoot DS there actually was pretty good so the idea that Dusk and DS both disagreed with me on it was kind of weird to me.
I already have a p good tr on doggo atp and just in general I tend not to support policy lynches except in the most extreme circumstances see: old starv. :O
like especially the idea that we should lynch a slot which at least for me seems to be easy to read is just a joke.
the pocket stuff (page 6/7)
I really don't understand why this got so much negative attention because everybody understands the importance of building town cores and building town cooperation. Like I feel like the only reason this was disputed at all was because of the word 'pocket' which I only used here because heal did when what I mean by 'pocketing' is really just influencing them to the extent that they town read me + at the very least recognize my ideas or at most sheep me. Mafia is a social manipulation game and even as town in order to really even do anything you have to get people to recognize that you are town and listen to your ideas, so obviously when heal start objecting to me asserting that they are town and doing cutesy shit I need to assert that yeah im always going to be manipulative as both alignments because I have to be.
The pressure to do that is slightly lower on mafia 451 just because activity levels (and to some extent skill) across the board tends to be higher

just remembered this--there is absolutely no way hal actually thinks im scum with heal and hannah.
and again, dusk literally asked for vc at 1 hr 20 minutes till deadline and I saw him in the activity log when I was able to pop in when deadline was called.
