No, you absolutely do not have grounds to call activity and I am contesting this activity call.

You have to contact your opponent, asking them to play, in order to get an activity win. Sitting online and not contacting them whatsoever is not grounds for an activity win. You did not contact me at all on Saturday to try to play.

I have very explicit proof I was online throughout the day (and all of today, for that matter); I played for a number of tournaments, I was active in the 1v1 room and 1v1 server at different points throughout the day surrounding 1v1PL series, and I checked forums / discord dozens of times throughout the day. I am not claiming activity because despite being active and online, I did not reach out to you to ask to play. You are in the same exact boat as I am here. Neither of us have any grounds for activity and you claiming it for a tour you don't care about is clearly trying to fish for an unwarranted activity win.

This should be a very clear-cut dead game (although I am willing to play now, but I know it is late for you) since we both did not reach out to each other to play on Saturday. There are obviously years worth of precedent backing this, but you can also check the rules here which state:

If he was sitting on all week -- which he claims, he could have contacted me to check in to play at any point on Saturday, but he clearly did not do so. There are no future messages in our discord PM and I received no PMs via PS.

tl;dr: His activity claim is incorrect and it should be a dead game no matter how you look at the situation.

For starters, it's not my fault that you are locked, but as I stated above, contact is expected to be made on the same medium as initial contact. We talked previously on discord; you are not locked on discord and you did not message me at all.

I am not saying it is your fault; I am saying we both made no effort and we both were online, so it should be a dead game.

Akumajou and I had some scheduling conflicts and it's been about an hour since they stated they could be back from work. Not going to call act on an eastie and we're both already locked into poffs so :blobshrug:
