As a rusty unviable former 1v1 RO, that has never contributed past 2015, never played 1v1 and kinda sucks, I did better than expected so fuck you. S/o rays for trusting me and accepting the trade when I was kinda feeling low, was nice being with you, and tbh if it weren't for the amazing team support I got I wouldn't be where I am, you made me push myself more than I wanted and I feel like I all let you down on the most crucial week. starting off, someone asked me for shits and giggles if I wanted to manage, kaif or solar I think and i was pretty pumped but hardly expecting to get a team. thought my best odds were with power cause he had the megarays last pl, but once i realized he was gonna come online once every 2 and a half weeks that seemed unviable. solar and close were the 2 guys I was certain I would buy and Solar was annoying me all the time to manage with him anyway so I asked freddy if i can change the co. while it wasnt very appreciated at first i vouched for him not to do stupid shit and well, here we are now, dropped out in semis tiebreaker after we went on, what i think, a very impressive 5 week rampage.
we really shouldve made like a more in depth draft plan before hand cause we were, as most of you saw, left with a lot of money at the end when we could have just kept bidding on maybe one or 2 players that we planned to get initially. thankfully it turned out fine all the 'ass' players either showed what they can do (sans, gg, raj and aidan too even though they shit the bed 3 times each). first 2 weeks were tough, week one we just didnt put enough effort in and i was really not good enough to support 3 swsh slots at that point, i think we all didnt really feel the pressure yet at that point and it all kinda sorta just ended up in us being essentially crushed by a team that we thought was worse than us at first. week 2 was a lot a lot better, my swsh teams started to look at least usable, i came up with my own ideas, the team started to bond, overall just a much nicer atmosphere. on the side i tried to ship of our ''useless'' players for 'better' ones (throwback me offering 5 players for a kaif or deg trade). but we played the team we thought were the best in the tour, we fucked around with the swsh slots, solar lost, not very good circumstances. 0-2-0 by week 2 SUCKS let me tell you. there were a few things we had to work out at that point, sm was 0-4, swsh bo5 was 0-4 too. so solar swsh I guess, but who do we put in bw....
yea bad idea.
we decided to roll with the sm slots from week 1 again cause i had very much faith in close (which paid off later in the season as we saw) and well ayedan in SM didnt work either WHO WOULDVE THOUGHT. lord and saviour WASHED UP EATER GENGAR stepped up to clutch the fuck out of that week.
vs gogoats was well, the week felt free cause the team was ass but devestation hit the team when we lost the monopoke slot.. gunderson was truly fed up with himself, we didnt know if we could possibly bounce back..
determined to give my mans THICCSTENCANCE_1 another shot we put him in SM and suddenly he became allah himself beating up people that we expected him to get 3-0d by
that week we also subbed in ayedan into swsh cause he wanted to play but to noones suprise ayedan choked the 8-0 away.
anyway this is getting too long and ive talked shit about ayedan enough, w6 and 7 felt fairly routine, w7 skewdas didnt give a shit so we pulled a win by recycling in every slot. for us it just was important that we didnt get dragas in semis so as long as we didnt lose it was ok.
woohoo playoffs ultrafire bla bla, week starts badly, i got smashed cause i didnt have the balls to lose to snorlax, deg lost his first series u name it. i got to sleep wake up and BOP SUST WON AGAIN AND NFE MAIN ANIME SANS SMASHED CANTIUS i dont remember being this hype about anything since that pl since like my first win. pressure was on raj, tough for him since he didnt win a series yet and i wasnt exactly happy with the teams i made but still sent him in there fully confident he could win but boat just picked better and his teams were better so what can u do. so i send in tb line up go to sleep and well, there i wake up seeing that SUSSY WON AGAIN WHAT THE FUCK BRO I LOVE YOU but solar got spanked so i got really mad that now i have to win or we're out, i was shitting it all week even though i tried to play it down and told the team i was fine i honestly wasnt, if i wasnt the manager i mightve cared less but i just put on too much stress onto myself, i played 50 bw matches before the stable series and felt really good but then once i hit the chall button i had a feeling i was gonna lose. on that note ggs to morpekos your teams cancer and a bunch of criers and i dont really understand how u can whine so much about getting lucked but then when you luck you suddenly have the urge to flex with it? i still respect you guys for winning but i can definetly see attitude issues here that need to be taken care of, especially after picking SM of all tiers to tiebreak in even though you got smashed 3 times and robbed the 4th in more than one game, and well guess what the tiebreak tier was that u guys lost in LMAO
thanks guys for putting in so much work this season u deserved to win this thing but you can't win them all can you. thanks solar for putting up with this with me i dont think the team wouldve worked without you. we overperformed to everyones expectations if you ask me and even though im dissapointed im still happy with the outcome
