anybody else watching the liverpool match yesterday and burst out in uncontrollable laughter after their first goal after suddenley being reminded of when nosferalto was criticising Man Utd for being 'too lucky?'
tumblr_lq8cu5hryU1qchl8do1_500.gif

A big middle finger to all Liverpool fans who thought they were getting Mata.

Also agreeing with Keelhauled although 0-1 wouldn't be too bad but the draw is more likely to happen.

Good second half performance from United after an average first half from both sides. Three goals, clean sheet, and Rooney scored! :D

de gea clean sheet

hahaha to all you cunts who have hart

ps: really gay that im doing shit on the smogon one, but the other team i made with irl mates i have over 100 points :(

"Fenerbache expelled from this season's Champions League following a match-fixing investigation." -BBC Sport

I may update with more on this story, if I can be bothered.

Ok, I can be bothered, here

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14656932.stm

Or just read this

Turkey's Football Federation has withdrawn national champions Fenerbahce from the Champions League because of an ongoing match-fixing investigation.

On Thursday the Turkish side were due to join 32 elite European clubs in the draw for the Champions League group stage being held in Monaco at 1645 BST.

It is unclear how Uefa will replace Fenerbahce, who are suspected of fixing matches to win the Turkish title.

Runners-up Trabzonspor have also been implicated in the match-fixing probe.

They were eliminated in the the Champions League qualifying rounds and are currently in a two-legged play-off to qualify for the group stage of the Europa League.

The decision was taken after the Turkish Football Federation held an extraordinary board meeting on Wednesday attended by Uefa's legal counsel for integrity, Pierre Cornu.

The Turkish match-fixing probe threatened to play havoc with Uefa's marquee club competition, with Fenerbahce having been scheduled to play six group matches from September to December.

Uefa had warned it would kick out any team proved to be involved in match-fixing and wipe its results from the record.

Also, Holland/Netherlands are now the #1 footballing side in the world
1 Netherlands
2 Spain
3 Germany
4 England
5 Uruguay
6 Brazil
7 Italy
8 Portugal
9 Argentina
10 Croatia

gotta love those rankings England at 4th, despite not recording one win against any relevant team in 3 years.

I wouldn't feel comfortable with England getting a result against any of that top 10.

Great move by UEFA for throwing out Fenerbahce (i'm from Turkey, btw); I don't think that any Turkish team will replace them, though. Probably the team with the highest seed that has lost in the playoffs will advance?

edit: NVM, Trabzonspor (2nd last season) replaces Fenerbahce.

I love how fifa has ranked ghana below serbia, denmark, greece and USA.

PS: Spain is definitely the best side in the world, then Netherlands, then Germany, then Portugal. I promise.

they're not, thats the simple fact.

fifa rankings were never much of an indicator of performance tbh, the england ranking has me throwing up all day long

oh and CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!!!! EXTRA MONEY FOR WENGER TO WARM HIS ASS WITH

barton going to QPR? jesus fucking christ. having said that if he lamps Warnock before the end of the season I'm going to be a very happy girl.

in other news, swansea are being absolute gash at the moment. 3-1 loss to shresbury and the only goal for us was an own goal? jesus christ. sort it the fuck out boys. I don't mind relegation but I'd like it if we didn't embarass ourselves

also hi lee! sorry if I was a bit weird on the phone, I hate phones haha. you have a lovely accent too :3

Yeah, after Barton's agent saying something like "two of the clubs interested were clubs in the top 6", he goes to QPR. What a complete load of bollocks lol.

haha, i was caught off guard by how prim and proper you sound, not what i expected at all.

obviously upset to see barton leave but it was getting to the point where he was as big as the club and every single headline that flew our way was centered around him and his tweets so i guess it'll be nice to be rid of that aspect of him...

but still, thank you for everything Joey.

Lovin group a, group g also is fairly balanced.

Group A

FC Bayern München (GER)
Villarreal CF (ESP)
Manchester City FC (ENG)
Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli (ITA)

What a killer group. Bayern and ManCity are probably the best bets here, but every team has a fair chance.

Group B

FC Internazionale Milano (ITA)
PFC CSKA Moskva (RUS)
LOSC Lille Métropole (FRA)
Trabzonspor AS (TUR)

Well, Inter is most likely set and I expect either CSKA Moskva or Lille to get the other spot. Trabzonspor should aim for 3rd.

Group C

Manchester United FC (ENG)
SL Benfica (POR)
FC Basel 1893 (SWE)
FC Oțelul Galați (ROM)

Mancheter and Benfica will advance, for sure.

Group D

Real Madrid CF (ESP)
Olympique Lyonnais (FRA)
AFC Ajax Amsterdam (NED)
GNK Dinamo Zagreb (CRO)

Another strong group. Real Madrid will be 1st and Lyonnais will beat Ajax for 2nd, imo.

Group E

Chelsea FC (ENG)
Valencia CF (ESP)
FC Bayer 04 Leverkusen (GER)
Koninklijke Racing Club Genk (BEL)

Chelsea and Valencia with a slight chance for Leverkusen to get the 2nd place.

Group F

Arsenal FC (ENG)
Olympique de Marseille (FRA)
Olympiacos FC (GRE)
Ballspielverein Borussia Dortmund (GER)

Pretty tricky. I personally want Arsenal and Dortmund to advance, but the latter might have some problems against both Marseille and Olympiacos.

Group G

FC Porto (POR)
FC Shakhtar Donetsk (UKR)
FC Zenit Saint Petersburg (RUS)
APOEL FC (CYP)

Porto will get in (1st or 2nd), but the other three (most likely Donetsk and Zenit) have even chances to advance.

Group H

FC Barcelona (ESP)
AC Milan (ITA)
FC BATE Borisov (BLR)
FC Viktoria Plzeň (CZE)

Yeah, this one is probably the weakest, because Barcelona and Milan shouldn't really have major problems here.
