Sneijder with 10 key passes and nothing to show for it.

RVP deserves to be dropped for this, but luckily for him Huntelaar was no better. Not unexpected, Huntelaar is a well known big game bottler anyway.

You take your chances in football if you want to be successful. Holland didn't, nobody to blame apart from yourselves.

the misses from your strikers were more because andersen went lebron james this game, the post was the only instance of luck ill give you that did happen.

no, most shots werent "barely off-goal" afellay, robben, vdv, and sneijder (except from the post) all tried to shoot from a distance and went waaaay wide.

and hyperbole ffs

Yea i saw the whole match you clearly didn't or you would see Van Persie picked up some really good spaces and made runs off defenders, which Robben every single time decided to waste by shooting a mile over instead of passing to Van persie. He scuffed at best two shots only one of which was that easy. He can't do anything when the only other attacking player who seemed to be even remotely on the same wavelength was Sneijder.

Edit: If you seriously think Van Persie played well then I'm not even gonna bother responding to you rofl

my bad there, the spanish narrator said sneijder so i went with that

if anyone wants to talk about football live join us in #soccer (dont hate #football was taken). it gets pretty active in big tourney times like now
 
EURO 2012 predictions; Germany will win I say, but they have to play better than they did today, not the best performance. Im supporting England because im British but I cant see them winning, who knows though, anything can happen in Football.
 
The Netherlands really dropped the ball on this match (pun intended). So many chances, and nothing to show for it. Especially Van Persie was very, very disappointing in this match. If they continue playing like this in the upcoming matches, they will return home with 0 points. I wouldn't even be surprised.

fuckin nervous for tomorrow, if croatia/ireland are to have any chance of getting out of that group one of them needs to beat each other

Was busy for Holland Denmark but I watched Germany Portugal, very tedious. Hoping it's just because it's the first game, looking forward to Spain Italy today though!
 
Germany vs Portugal was miles more entertaining than Netherlands vs Denmark so you didn't miss much. Poland vs Greece and Russia vs Czech Republic was even better yesterday though. Russia were unbelievable the stuff they were coming up with - they always knew the passes to make, the moves, the runs, like every member of the team was telepathic. Arshavin was just unplayable and every attack they made ended up a goal or a near miss. 4-1 was flattering to the Czechs! Amazing game.
 
everyone who says van persie is disappointing has never watched the dutch team before lol

this is the team that the dutch should have put out in my opinion.

willems is good and all but why not go for the safer and more experienced option in emanuelson. also van persie kept drifting out of position and left the box empty. huntelaar would have been a better option as a CF.

and definitely nigel de jong on the bench with vdv starting. why play van bommel AND de jong? at least you have an attacking threat with vdv
 
nigel de jong is an attacking threat, didn't you see how he frequently attacks the legs of the opposition's players?

on a side note, spain 1-0 italy TORRES goal, but i can see spain losing to bus parking
