United had Luck to win?
i dont think so, epsecially with that Own goal. Petric did nudge DDG in that so not surprised he didn't get the ball.
cos Vidic is scary you try and avoid him

United should have had a few more goals to be fair. Fulham were off and on.. and if it wasn't for Dembele.. they would have been even more embarrassing.

pretty sure i remember seeing a barnsley fan on here so i'd like to offer them my condolences, i work at brighton's stadium and pretty much every customer i spoke to said that they looked like they were going down based on today's game :(

i don't know if anyone here cares about this year's championship though other than me and presumably shade!

You and Shade will cease to care as well if and when the clubs you support get promoted >_>
I wouldn't say United got lucky(as much as I'd love to)but I will say that Fulham deserved a point.Dembele is world class. My Fantasy team did pretty well this weekend with the City and Arsenal's games yet to come;from 19 to 8 fuck yeah.

you don't have nor have ever had a fucking clue about the championship - you barely register anything that's not in the top 6

1-0 Pool

Was Lucas injured?

I hope Nuri Sahin can regularly play there (I heard he's watching the game).

edit: City scored, 1-1

What a glorious free kick.......And here I was thinking "Why isn't Gerrard taking that".

I guess us Arsenal fans can look on the bright side: we've picked up 2 clean sheets in 2 games. It seems like this year the offense is the problem, where last year the defense was the problem.

suck a fat one. if leeds got promoted to the premiership i would probably get so smashed i'd die of liver failure and be unable to care about any division. but i wouldn't expect you to be too bothered about the championship, despite it being just as exciting and more unpredictable that the epl imo. i'd go watch leeds united whatever division they were in and i'll always have time to watch the football league show or something and get some lower leagues action.

Good for you if you can manage to follow both.My busy schedule allows me to follow only one and I choose to watch the premier league for obvious reasons.I never said anything about the championship being "boring" or "predictable" did I?
If Chelsea were in the Championship I'd only follow that division due to college but in my holidays I'd watch the PL as well.

And the main reason Arsenal are misfiring is because Giroud needs some time to adapt to the premier league. The reason RVP was top scorer last season was because their other players are good at creating chances but pathetic at finishing them(which is also why he won't be able to achieve the same feat this season). You almost feel sorry for Cazorla;working his butt off only for Giroud and Podolski to be so wasteful.Maybe Wenger should try playing Podolski in the centre and Walcott in his place.

you are insufferable sometimes, you can't just 'not be arsed with the championship' it's because of your 'busy schedule'. lol. just admit you're not arsed!

Anyone can fit in watching the Football League show once a week if they really cared (which they should, its excellent). Speaking of which, hopefully Brentford have finally kickstarted their season after smashing Crewe 5-1. Gutted I didn't get to see this one but hopefully I'll make it down to Griffin Park before uni starts up again. If the form from late last season and this match is anything to go by, we could be in with a shot at playoffs which would be like a dream.

I wish it was on a differant day tbh, its a long night watching MOTD and the football league show sometimes

you know they do this thing where they put it on the internet for people to watch when it's convenient for them, right? you can pause it and everything

Thoughts about new season:

Liverpool actually look half decent even without a proper striker.
Chelsea noob buying everything so one of them (Hazard) was bound to do something.
Arsenal are immense!!!
No longer sexually attracted to RVP, what an absolute slut.
Swansea will stop winning soon (note: I've been saying that since start of last season...)

Predictions for finish: Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea.

I put in Michu in fantasy.. bound to jinx him now.

Arsenal at least have sorted thier defence, so no 8-2 this season :(

I might have to watch the football league show just to watch Blackpool decimate :D
