Killer game, and like I thought Lukaku didn't really cause the real problems apart from that one chance (credit to Kos among others). Too bad Everton had wayy more outlets. They won the first half but we arguably won the second so I guess a draw is fair but gd if Giroud scored that... wasn't a good day for Santi and Ramsey to be off either

oh well 5 points is 5 points

good week for us. now 2nd with 5 points off arsenal and 2 points clear of everton

now watch us slip to 5th with a customary shitty performance against spurs

That was a decent game, it was really interesting to see the differences in tactics. Everton pressed high and quickly when they lose it while Arsenal dropped off without the ball and let Everton have it. It's been the story of the season how Wenger has changed his plan and now he's happy to play counter attacking and sit there like at Dortmund, and surprisingly enough it works despite getting battered possession wise. But yeah some of the combinations were really good and Everton were really quick in their passing it could have been 5-5.

Okay, now these next fixtures against City and Chelsea will determine whether this is an easy title run or a god damn blood bath.

Id rather have a bad game and get a draw than a bad game and get battered while losing confidence, which tended to happen in the past. So, hooray. Although those 3 pts were a real nice opportunity for a big cushion.

But i can only imagine City and their pressure with their ability to finish brilliantly. But we are good at playing a game Man City hates, we will pass it around like magicians and hopefully have them defending often. We tend to handle City well.

It's not because we got a draw and were arguably outplayed, but I do hope our stamina isn't low and players are running out of steam. Going to be a busy and important month.

City could play to their strengths and play 2 strikers against us, but if they do they risk getting shredded by our midfield. If they play 3 in midfield it could be a 0-0 bore draw cos the strength of Garcia and Toure will cancel out whatever tippy tappy Ramsey and Ozil wanna do. So I'm not that concerned tbh, it's Chelsea that's our hoodoo team but they're not at it this year and you have to say our midfield is more well drilled than theirs while we both have donkey strikers. All I want is 2 points from those 2 games and I'll be happy and I think there's nothing on paper that says they're better than us unlike previous years.

I feel like we're playing with so much confidence and swag this year. I love the passing and the creativity up front, it's amazing the types of chances we get. Could have easily won that match, but past is past.. either way, we are making more runs into the box and not just simply passing around the 18yd waiting for something to happen.

In other football news, last year's Brazilian champions, Fluminese, have been relegated! And last year's 5th, Vasco da Gama, are also relegated. That's a competitive league! (or highly corrupted by fixing?) Over to you Man Utd and Tottenham! ^_^

There is corruption in pretty much everything organized involving gabbling or betting , ever since people discovered money , football is just another example.

it's beautiful.

we're also second in the table!! I'm going to savour this moment before we drop back down to 7th

If there's ever a time for Liverpool to get Top 4 or dare I say, win the league in this decade, it's this year. It's so up in the air, the table is going to be shifting like crazy all season.

Predictions so crazy

Real Sociedad 1-3 Bayer Leverkusen
Manchester United 2-0 Shakhtar Donetsk
FC Copenhagen 0-1 Real Madrid
Galatasaray 2-2 Juventus
Olympiacos 2-1 Anderlecht
Benfica 0-1 PSG
Viktoria Plzen 0-0 CSKA Moscow
Bayern Munich 3-2 Manchester City

Well that was much better from City lol! But yeah City didn't show up for the first 20 mins at all, and then Bayern just stopped playing, you could see from the goals they stopped running and closing down or doing any defending at all it was wierd. I honestly don't see City playing 2 strikers against Arsenal but maybe they will and I hope so. Onto the Napoli game then, I wonder when Wenger will start resting players cos City just sent out nearly a complete changed XI in preparation for Saturday...
