I've got a hunch that Bale is going to flop at Madrid. Players wearing their colors are under tremendous pressure to perform anyway and he is now the most expensive signing of all time. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Liverpool top of the table and Stoke for Europa League! Imagine if the table stayed the same as now, I can really see Sunderland and West Brom down there too. West Brom are probably on the worst run of form of any team in 2013, they are still living off their great start to last season and it's not looking good for them after losing Lukaku.

mexico might not make it to world cup LOL, we are so fcking bad if only we had our best player playand our coaches werent laurel level of dumb

Anybody feel all this transfer window has shown is that RVP was an absolute bargain last summer. Wenger shoulda fleeced Fergie for 40m or at least 30m. Darren Bent went for 24m for gods sake.

Also Champions League coming up ^^) especially as an Arsenal fan I think anyone can beat anyone in that group, even Marseille. I fully expect us to get spanked by Marseille and then turn around and beat Napoli and Dortmund or something and still don't make it out or some retarded shit.

Considering the signing of RVP is what most people credit as the title winning play by Manchester United last season, undoubtedly so. Especially when you consider this year their "big" signing has been Fellaini, who cost £3.5m more than RVP despite it being pretty unlikely he'll have as big n impact as RVP did.

The Champions League draw this year was very interesting. I for one expect the signing of Ozil to be key to Arsenal's campaign, but I still expect them to struggle. Given the teams in their group, I honestly think they'd be pleased with placing 2nd - Dortmund are going to be hot favourites to storm to 1st, and both Napoli and Marseille will give the Gunners a run for their money.

Given the state of Manchester United's midfield, I have no doubt of that. It won't be quite the same impact though - RVP arguably won Manchester United the title.

As a kid I used to love internationals, I thought World Cup 98 was so cool. I don't know if it's a symptom of getting older but now it seems all the life has been sucked out of them. Nobody wants to play for their country anymore and it doesn't seem as big a deal. Is it just me or was it back then you had to actually be a top player to play for your country? Oxlade-Chamberlain getting his call up a month after signing Arsenal was a farce, he played one decent match in the top flight at that stage! Same with Sterling after like 2 good games for Liverpool last year. Same with Jenkinson and Zaha that was a joke! They didn't used to call up randomers who don't even play like what is Smalling doing in the squad. I'd much rather give that spot to a Michael Turner or Ryan Shawcross or anyone with a bit of experience who actually plays week in week out for their club. Calling up Lambert was a step in the right direction.

I think you should be first choice for your club and put in at least a whole season of good performances before being considered for call up cos picking hyped up kids who haven't even played a match is just cheapening the shirt and making the whole thing look like a farce when there are plenty of decent players who have played for years in the top flight. They should be picked instead of the kids! /Rant over
