Spurs have scored 15 goals this season, lost to west ham, Man city and Liverpool conceding 14 goals and scoring none and have a negative goal difference and still are above Man u.
I think most people have been waiting for this moment for years. Time to take it all in.

I don't think he should of been sacked. Has the highest win percentage as a Spurs manager. Although considering how much he spent this season, you'd think they would do better..

That's the thing, did he pick those particular players or was it their sporting director/director of football.

Edit: Watching the Milan-Roma game atm and it seems that balotelli really loves that milan grass.

They lost their MVP and bought shitloads of new players with this money.
It obivously takes time to get back on the former level.

And I can't see a better manager for the spurs on the market at the moment. I'm not following english football that much, but I think the Spurs shouldn't have sacked AVB :|

Eh, I'm not surprised at all. Right from the beginning, I thought that it was foolish of Spurs to hire him after his Chelsea debacle. What was even dumber was that they expected someone like him to turn them into title contenders when in reality, he cannot even help them qualify for the Champions League. If it wasn't for Di Matteo and King Drogba we wouldn't have qualified for CL in the 2012-13 season either. This was fucking inevitable.

Would be amusing if spurs hired di matteo and went on to win euro league, after he replaced avb midseason and took chelsea to champs league title... The parallels... (I can always dream cant i)

The only reason im hesitant about the avb firing was the fact that the recent stretch has been caused largely by a significant string of injuries.... Rose, kaboul, vert, eriksen, chiriches all would be improvements, and i might have given avb the chance to at least let guys get healthy (rose was back for euro league game, not quite sure why he wasnt playing sunday, perhaps hes not quite up to game speed yet). Regardless though, you just cant play the way spurs have been playing. The only reason this season hasnt been a total nightmare is the number of lucky points we brought in early in the season, which i struggle to credit avb for... Without those we'd be bottom half of the table and avbs job would clearly be gone

Not surprised we lost today. Again we failed to kill the game off and payed the price.

I still can't wrap my head around why Mourinho brought in Eto. Why would anyone bring in a striker who is past his best who was practically on vacation for over a year in the russian league.

Kevin de bruyne was our best player today and really deserves more game time in 'bigger' games.

Mourinho is currently doing better than Rafa was at this point in the year.
2 points from #1 and into the the round of 16 of the Cl with a relatively nice draw. Yeah he has a lot to fix like he love for Lampard and mikel but you can't say Chelsea is worst this year than last. We haven't lost at home beating the likes of Man city(yeah we got lucky in the end but we got more and the better chances throughout the game), Arsenal @ the emirates and dominating Southampton in a 2nd half where mourinho tactics won the game.

To be honest i would've prefer rafa to say than change management again no matter who it was so that we could have some form of stability but Mourinho is here now and it will be interesting to see how he approaches the rest of the season.

hopefully that game will be a draw

well Chelsea would have lost at home if they didn't cheat against West Brom ;)

time to find out if Moyes can do it on a cold wednesday night in Stoke.

Turns out the ref cant :D Hail stops play.
