I heard this. Unbelievable. Also remy and norwich's johnson get red cards and 3 match bans for a tussle in a goalless draw.

Merseyside Derby was really great, got to watch the first half live and it was totally one sided. Obviously the injuries of coleman, distin and lukaku REALLY hurt but Liverpool deserved the 4-0 win. Sturridge played a great game :)

Also apparently Chelsea aren't going for Costa which is a massive blow. :(
 
Costa to Chelsea is a summer job. It's kinda annoying Wenger isn't even being linked to anyone at all, apart from Draxler but I don't really see it happening this window. I think Arsenal will bring in one or two experienced unknowns (like Squillacci type player) and be priced out of Draxler in the summer. I may be the transfer version of Phadunk. Also Phadunk you should get your black kid avatar back!

Also Berba (who Wenger was linked to) is apparently set to join Tottenham, with Holtby going the other way on loan!

edit: Also Taarabt to AC Milan, harsh times in Italy... I remember not so long ago at all Arsenal lost 4-0 there and Milan were relative moneybags and Ibra was looking down on us saying Arsenal don't spend money and have no ambition...

So frustrating to watch and I can only imagine how the players felt. Kudos to West Ham though; no attack on earth could've scored against them tonight.
 
west ham hold out despite the referee's best attempts to hand chelsea the win by adding 3 extra minutes on top of the 4 minutes of stoppage time



mourinho not such a funny guy on the touchline when things don't go his way. very overrated tactically but very good at media manipulation and at pressurizing referees
 
I love when Chelsea ruins an acca! There's another one, maybe now I'll start betting on Man City to win too!

Also phalanx on Ramsey: He was out for a year and a half with a horrific leg break but other than that he hasn't really been injured, just unbelievably out of form and confidence. Aguero, Silva, RVP and (shudder) Diaby are the real glassmen!
 
I couldn't watch the game because ESPN was only showing City's game, but looking at the stats: 39 shots, 9 on goal, against 1 (1) from the Hammers. Damn. It's even funnier looking it like this

City played better while they were even in number and deserved to win, but it's true that the pen (when there was no foul) and red card helped a lot to ensure the win. Also damn Agüero getting injured again :\

it was 1 minute. even less iirc

and 3 minutes =/= 2 or 1 for that matter

when we were against villa drawing 2-2 at home, the referee added 3 minutes and nobody complained. mourinho was all over the 4th official

Regarding the match, well it is hard to break through the 6-4-1 formation.
Every shot was blocked or hit the post or saved. Can't wait till next week monday for the city game where we must get a result.

I guess that Mourinho wasn't playing mind games when he said tha we could only win the title NEXT season. Whatever, watching United miss out on CL will be enough to cheer me up. And, btw if you hate Mourinho so much, you should hate Fergie even more; media manipulation and pressurising referees are the names of his two grand kids. And yet, I never saw you hating on him half as much.

Anyway aguero injury is unfortunate but maybe not out for too long. The refs were playing for man city again tho... :( I mean the penalty and the harsh disallowance of dawson's fabulous goal. :(

Lots of red cards this week, pretty crazy! Remy out for 3 weeks is pretty sad... I had mcgregor in for fantasy :( I prioritised transferring out lukaku rather than aguero this week, and got adebayor because he plays now. I wouldn't count on RVP to start every week, he very well might rotate with rooney.

Fun fact. In the 19th century, 2-2-6 was the most common formation, while 2-3-5 was considered defensive.

I did not care about missing out on Salah because I didn't rate him but missing out on Konoplyanka especially in this manner is absolutely heart breaking

Feels even worse than when Dortmund outbid us for Mkhitaryan :l
