Alexis Sanchez said Arsenal lacked the self-belief to win the Premier League even before their back-to-back defeats by Manchester United and Swansea.

"Sometimes we lack the mentality that we are already winning 1-0 when we go out on to the pitch," Sanchez told Directv Sports before the United match.

"We lack this hunger to believe that we can be champions.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger also said his side's loss of form "looks a bit" like a confidence issue.

"I am worrying about our results," he said. "We don't dream. We have to be realistic and come back to what we do well... the basics.

Hmmm, looks like everything is not well at Arsenal. It's one thing to have fans or opponents criticising you but to come out and say it like that screams of disharmony.

Which doesn't mean a thing. Weren't challenging for anything anyways. It's like saying we have to play with 10 men now.. Who cares.

honestly cant stand our fans really, the second something goes wrong, they call for half the teams head. How on earth are you suppose to perform well when you know that 95% of your fan base will be calling for you to leave the team if you have an average performance in a big game

Liverpool fans did it to Henderson, Milner, Benteke, Lallana, Mignolet,Sturridge and Firmino( even when they did well sometimes.) Our fans are also really delusional.

Mertesacker has been below par for 2 seasons now. He's not as bad as some people say but he's given away so many important goals in that time that he surely will be dropped soon.

Title race is still open imo, any of the top 4 can still win it. If Leicester don't get any injuries then they'll probably win it but if Spurs, Arsenal or City can put together a winning run (which they're all capable of) then they could snatch it at the end.

We were lucky to win it. Both goals were gift-wrapped to us; GK passing to Firmino and the defender rushing in to tackle Benteke from a tight angle, resulting in a PK.

Anyway, the Ramsey curse lives on.

And now we get to the part of the season where the english media ignores the european competition so they can delude themselves into thinking that an english team will do well next year

Not yet. Man City is still in UCL (technically, Arsenal is too but you know they're going to get eliminated against Barca).
In Europa, Spurs challenge Dortmund, the Europa League favourites. Also, one of Liverpool and Man Utd are going to progress to the next round so there's plenty of interest.

Can't for the life of me figure out why Traore was brought on to replace Costa and not Rémy, and why Rémy wasn't brought on later to replace Pedro who was more invisible than Hazard. It's just madness to bring on a kid who just got his first start in a game of such magnitudes. I suppose both the players and manager knew the game was over when PSG scored their first. This team is sorely lacking in determination and leadership, at least we had those in 2012 even though we had a worse squad.

Dortmund should win the europa league unless like Wolfsburg last season they get routed in the first leg of any round of which they can't recover from, but Dortmund are just too strong in attack and in midfield compared to the rest of the Europa league sides. Also watch out for Shakhtar Donetsk, they've been going strong ever since Alex Teixeira left and all the La Liga sides should contend as well especially Villarreal who look the best of them along with Athletic Club.
