1) The squad he picked
2) Playing wingers when he only took 1 in the entire squad and deciding the solution was to ask Rose and Walker to play 2 positions at once.
3) Playing their record scorer out of position in midfield where he was made to look foolish (except against average teams like in the first 2 games)
4) Playing centre forwards Rashford, Sturridge and Vardy out wide
5) Taking Wilshire
6) Playing Alli and Wilshire together tonight when we've seen similar players Lampard and Gerrard playing together and it doesn't work.
7) Kane the set piece taker
8) Worrying about the mighty opposition of Wales, Russia, Slovakia and Iceland and not playing 2 upfront or someone in the number 10 role in case they walked through us because he only had 1 defensive midfielder in the entire squad.
9) Constantly chopping and changing formations, tactics and personnel throughout the entire tournament.
10) Stupid substitutions
11) Not taking Andy Carroll when your plan is to pump high balls into the box
12) His interviews / press conferences

France also had their problems breaking through very defensive teams. Not much of a suprise considering their players though. Still they good actual top tier players instead of overrated douches, which should give them better chances than England.

Anyways, Belgium and Germany seem like the only teams left, that don't shit their pants as soon as they got posession, so let's hope that's gonna be our final r.r

Don't rule Italy out, you saw how they played against Belgium right? I feel like Germany should still be the favourites, but sleep on the Azzuri at your own risk.

I didn't mean quality, but playstile wise. Most teams this euro prefere a defensive, "underdog" approach and do not even try to build up a proper game, but rather relied on long balls and fast breaks. Which is the reason why a lot of big teams like france, england, etc had problems dealing with all those small teams like Albania, Iceland, etc. I didn't want to say the other teams were any worse, especially Italy was very good so far. I just meant that I like those two the most from the teams remaining.

Also most German football fans are super pessimistic pricks, according to their predictions we would have went out in group stages this year and 2014, so don't count too much on such opinions. I'm pretty sure, we get to defeated Italy the first time this year 8)

Vardy plays in a specific way, Kane was crap.. Rooney was in midfield.. Rashford wasn't used enough, Raheem overrated sterling is crap.

It's just not a good idea to rate teams in this tournament by their striker quality, it's pretty low in general, even for top teams like Germany... Would you say Mario Gomez is that much better than Pellè or Éder?

Also yeah, Germany's fanbase has no trust in Löw for some reason, they just don't like the team playstyle I think. Pretty sad to see, because Löw is an amazing coach, no doubt top5 in the world currently.

They are just dickheads who know nothing about football, but think anyone who starts other players as they would has no idea what he is doing. For example playing the world cup with 4 CBs and Lahm in the midfield. But yes it's also the playstyle, people here want to see players "fight" instead of "playing", which is also why a lot of Bayernfans didn't like Guardiola.

What the England team needs now and has needed for the last 15 years is a coach with a clear strategy. The new manager needs to pick a system that suits the players and then decide on the best players for that system. They need to forget about trying to fit everyone in, you're never gonna fit 5 in form strikers into a team.

For example, I could decide to base the team on the most naturally talented attacking players we have: Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sturridge and Sterling imo. Put Wilshere at number 10 to release them and stitch them together and then have Henderson, who is a workhorse, and Dier to protect the defence to complete the midfield three. This is a possession based system where Ox would have freedom to come inside to add an extra body to midfield for control while Sterling is told to hug the line to give balance to the shape.

Or you could decide our players are too shit and Wilshere is a shit no. 10 and they're all injury problems on legs and we need to just accept we're a team with little talent. But we do have flying full-backs such as Walker/Clyne/Rose who don't know how to defend so why not use a 5-3-2 with Smalling, Cahill and Stones in defence. Stones can be the ball playing CB from the back and fire balls up to Kane and Rashford. Alli and Henderson to support box to box and feed on knocks downs while Dier anchors the midfield.

Whoever the new coach is, they need to break hearts and stop trying to fit Kane, Sturridge, Vardy, Sterling, Rooney, Alli and Wilshere into the same team. They need to decide what system suits the squad and drop the players that don't suit the system.
