An UnSUSPECTed Metagame​

Tournament Rules

Specific Tournament Rules:

It's no secret that many Pokemon in the current metagame are a cut above the rest. However, there is one heavily contested question: should they be Uber? This tournament will test the skill of players in a metagame without the biggest threats of the metagame - those that were nominated in the latest suspect stage. Below are the clauses and specific rules for the tournament.
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same pokémon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
  • Sleep Clause: A player cannot put two or more different opposing Pokémon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing pokémon.
  • Evasion Clause: A player cannot increase their Pokémon's evasion stat with a move that specifically increases evasion. Items or indirect boosts do not break this clause.
  • OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
  • Battle Timeout: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
  • Suspect Clause: In addition to all other Uber Pokemon and items, the following Pokemon and abilities are banned: Drizzle, Drought, Deoxys-E, Excadrill, Latios, Reuniclus, and Thundurus.
This will (hopefully) be a 128-man tournament. The first 64 participants will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis. The remaining 64 will be chosen randomly from the remaining users who wanted to participate. If 128 people do not sign up, then this may be reduced to a 96 or 64 sized tournament.

why was my match a coinflip? i've been a lot more active than vaz, to my knowledge, and he didnt even show up for the day we scheduled :s

hell, i even have an activity post in the previous thread where as vaz has none.

I made a PM to Delta2777 concerning the situation and activity, as well as the situation that I "did not turn up for the scheduled date", which is false. I detailed that I live at the worst possible timezone for us to arrange a battle and further tried to arrange another battle with you just before the deadline, however you declined despite it being a Saturday night for you.

I wish you the best of luck in future tournaments fatty.
 
VMed IronBullet day 1 to set up a time, was told to wait for him to make a team. My computer died last night and I won't get a new one until Tuesday (possibly Wednesday), so this match probably won't happen.
