Sorry if this has already been brought up but Swirlix is hardcore.
62/48/66/59/57/49 (341) becomes 124/96/132/118/114/98 (682)
Adding it to the long list of pseudo legendaries this meta has to offer. With 124/132/114 bulk and Fairy typing, this thing can take hits very well.
96/118/98 offenses don't seem to flashy at first, but when you consider Unburden and Swirlix's selection of set-up moves, this thing is just rude. After a Belly drum + Sitrus Berry combo with Unburden, this thing reaches 960 attack (252+), and 590 speed (252). It can also run great Calm Mind sets.
Swirlix @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Play Rough
- Return
- Wish
Given a chance to set up, and with steels out of the way, this thing simply sweeps. Easily OHKOing and 2HKOing pretty much the entire meta gema besides bulky steel types. It is also still very tanky.
+6 252+ Atk Swirlix Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Shroomish: 364-430 (81.9 - 96.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Swirlix @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Cotton Guard
- Draining Kiss
- Flamethrower
Still not sure with the nature and stats spread. This thing again has good sweep potential. It takes longer to set up but is safer to set up. It also isn't stopped by steels. Extremely hard to wear down and kill.
Also worth noting I guess.
Eviolite banned = Blissey > Chansey.
Jigglypuff is funny :D
230/90/40/90/50/40.
I enjoy using my sweat little Jigglymuffins. Her Wishes are only just short of Blissey's and although her special bulk is much worst, she makes up for it with her superior defense. Also she can actually attack using moves outside of Seismic Toss, which loses a lot of effectiveness due to a lot of high HP stats being introduced. No SR is a bit sad but god dammit its JIGGLYPUFF! Now we have a viable excuse for using this beautiful little pink blob of mischief and sugar coated goodness that gave Ashe and the crew a hard time in generation 1 by putting them to sleep and drawing on their god damned faces!!!
Jigglypuff (Jigglymuffins) @ Leftovers
Ability: Cute Charm
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Dazzling Gleam / Hyper Voice
- Perish Song / Sing / Thunder Wave
Standard support. Big wishes and nice Heal Bells. Solid damage output with Dazzling Gleam or Hyper Voice (considering it is a Jigglypuff). Strong utility with filler move. I generally use Perish song for opposing Swirlix, but Thunder Wave is very stronger for crippling a large portion of the meta's sweepers and Sing is Jiggle's signature move. Cute Charm is hilarious when it works xD.
(Just throwing it out there that Jigs can also run a really cute lil Competitive set).
