Tournament rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • The 2020 National Dex Circuit information can be found here.
  • Best of three, double elimination.
  • This tournament will use the standard National Dex ban list, which can be found here.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown! or the SmogTours server
  • Sw/Sh cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
  • A list of National Dex specific mechanics can be found here.
  • Replays are recommended to prevent disputes but are not mandatory.

As usual only losers side will be playing this week, deadline is 14th June 2020 at 11:59PM GMT+1, extensions will be granted where necessary

It was bought to my attention that zugubu royale used Libero Cinderace in their game vs faded love last week after i explicitly posted that it would not be legal that week due to the rule in the OP which states

As I did not know at the time since no replays were posted Zugubu advanced, however, after being sent the replay and discussing with TDs, faded love will take the win over zugu and move back into winners side.

I am sorry for the confusion and an extension will be available if needed if anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me here or on discord. In the future if someone knowingly breaks a rule in your game, report it to me immediately so that it can be resolved before the following round starts.
