This is it! The first BDSP Circuit is coming to a close, and this is your last opportunity to get points before the big fight! Welcome to the BDSP Last Chance Tournament, and you better take it! Just so you know, this is also the final 2022 BDSP OU tournament, so you better join if you hope to get into the circuit finals with this tier!

Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations.
  • 2022 BDSP Circuit information.
  • The banlist for this tournament is the same as the BDSP OU ladder of the Smogon University server of Pokemon Showdown and can be found on Smogon's strategy dex.
  • Best of three, single elimination.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown!.
  • Sw/Sh cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
  • Replays are recommended to prevent disputes.

"Fortunate" doesn't begin to describe my series, this game rewarded my blind luck and nothing else, I am beyond convinced at this point. After getting completely tooled by scheduling with me changing times on my opponent last minute and refusing to provide confirmation prior to the day of the match as to play times, winning this way somehow felt even better than I had thought possible. My preparation was inferior, my play was inferior, and I won, so I obviously see a reason to continue engaging in an activity where what is not within my control is overwhelmingly outweighed by what is.

(Usually activity calls are made in the weekend, but you can wait until the very last day if you hope to fight your opponent or call as soon as they missed their first "agreed time"; some tournaments make the call Thursday/Friday exclusively on round 1 to encourage playing your matches, using leftover substitute players or players that joined after; you can read more on scheduling overall here)
