Welcome to the ORAS Ubers Cup VI!

The Ubers Classic this year consists of 5 cups each featuring a generation ranging from USM to ADV. Players can earn points from their placements in each cup in order to reach the playoffs, a top 16 bracket where they then compete to earn type B points in the Ubers 2023 Circuit.

Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • This is a standard ORAS Ubers tournament.
  • Best of three, single elimination.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown!
  • Saving replays is mandatory, in the case of a dispute you must be able to prove that you won your game. I would strongly encourage you to play your games on the Smogon Tournaments PS! Server since it automatically saves replays.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts, get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.
  • Standard clauses apply.
  • All the usual Smogon rules regarding activity, timer, disconnection, and cheating rules apply.
ORAS Ubers specific Clauses:
  • Sleep Clause Mod: Limit one foe put to sleep
  • Species Clause: Limit one of each Pokémon
  • Moody Clause: Moody is banned
  • OHKO Clause: OHKO moves are banned
  • Endless Battle Clause: Forcing endless battles is banned
  • Swagger Clause: Swagger is banned
  • SleepTrap Clause: A Pokemon cannot use a move that can inflict sleep status on the opponent if it has the ability Shadow Tag.
  • Rayquaza is not permitted to Mega Evolve.

Extension Deadline is Wednesday April 19th, 11:59pm GMT-4

The Strap is calling activity on XSTATIC COLD. The Strap messaged him on Showdown on thursday, trying to establish contact to get the game done. Shortly after contacting him, The Strap disconnected and by the time The Strap's connection was back he was gone. The Strap tried establishing contact again through forums today and The Strap's opponent couldn't give The Strap a single second of availability for today, tomorrow and any weekday which makes an extension impossible.

The Strap understands that he was late with establishing contact, however the opponent hasn't taken the initiative wrt getting the game done at all and this fact paired with his apparent unavailability on the weekend and any weekdays for the upcoming week unfortunately leaves The Strap with little options but to call activity here.

you never messaged me thursday, you only answered this saturday 11pm, come on.

I cant play tomorrow cause i wont be available. If you replied to me earlier, we could fight easy.

the best i can do is an extension, and i will see if i can play on my late evenings after the work.
(and stop saying i want to dodge you or anything else) , next time reply early and not saturday night.

We also could have played at any time in the past three hours, considering you were able to respond to my attempts at getting the game done on your wall. However, fortunately for you, The Strap will still grace your insolence with an opportunity to get the game done. You may get on smogtours and challenge Skysolo right now.

it s 1 am at me, i m disconnected from smogtours and i havent team on phone.
Let s try to play Monday 11pm+2 , it s the only schedule that i have.
