How this works

There will be between 6 teams this year. Each team will have 6 starters and at least 3 subs (minimum roster size of 9). The players are bought using the 100k credits that managers receive during the auction. Managers and co-managers will be allowed to purchase themselves as players for their team at a fixed price of 13.5k. The managers must inform the hosts (BoingK, Akeras and velvet) of all self-purchases before the beginning of the auction. Teams can win their weekly matchups by winning 4 of the 6 matches their players have to play. Players listed on an OMPL roster will not be allowed to play but may still manage a team. Those managing an OMPL team will not be allowed to play or manage.

It is recommended that all games are played on SmogTours with the current version of the format corresponding to those listed above. Games can be played on the Pokemon Showdown main server if and only if both players agree, but run a higher risk of interference from server restarts/crashes. The result between players may be decided in a best-of-one or best-of-three at both players' discretion. If there is no agreement, the result will decided in a Bo1 by default.
Points will be awarded according to the result in a week: a win is 2 points, a draw is 1 point, and a loss awards no points. In addition, the manner in which the round has been won will also be recorded, i.e. the difference between a team's wins and losses in a specific week's round (referred to as "Win Differential").

Playoffs:
Each team will play one another in a round-robin regular season format. Based on the final standings, the top 4 teams will enter the knockout phase of the tournament, with the semi-finals consisting of the first seed playing the fourth seed, and the second seed playing the third seed. Finals will then consist of the winners of each semi-final draw.

Tiebreaker

In the event of two teams being tied for a spot in the finals based on points and win differential, or there is a tie in the final round itself, we will have a tiebreaker round(s).
Tiebreak Procedure:
Both teams submit three strike choices, ranked. The hosts process both lists at the same time until we end up with three metas (if both of them strike the same meta at some point) or more likely, four unstruck metas. If there are four, the hosts randomly pick three of the four for tiebreaker.

Substitutes

Substitutes are to be used in the case of extenuating circumstances, whether on the first day of the week, or the last. At the same time, players should be relatively well-aware of who all are available to play in the opponent's camp. If last-minute substitutes are being frequently used or abused and the hosts find explanations unsatisfactory, the hosts still reserve the right to veto them. Teams are only granted a maximum of two substitutes per week to prevent the abuse of substitutions. Any substitutions after the second will be vetoed.
  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

BH: Hiusi Guy vs Dragonillis
last week Dragonillis cooked hard against me + he does seem to have pretty good support from what i can tell so i think this will be a pretty easy for him (sorry hisui guy)
BH: Rightclicker vs damflame 3
while i am a bit biased towards my team i think this is probably the best bh match this week, both are really solid players but rightclicker is coming off a unfortunate loss from last week, will be a close one due to how experienced damflame really is (and he has good cooks trust:p)
BH: MagearnaTheBoss vs Stolen Identity
Having stolen identity in ur team is just a cheatcode for omfl ngl, hes just a very broken player, i think if he doesnt bring a meme team he should be fine, MTB did have some interesting play last week tho with some interesting sets like mglo pogre

BH Reviews
i am not that good of a bh player imo so take these reviews with a grain of salt
this is also my first time doing this, dont be harsh:(, also its 1 am while i make it

Yoko vs Dragonillis
:chansey: :Arceus-ground: :Audino-Mega: :blaziken-mega: :sceptile-mega: :dondozo: vs :eternatus: :arceus-ghost: :audino-mega: :steelix-mega: :koraidon: :Dondozo:

Lets start out with my own game shall we, so im coming off an 0-1 from week 1 so i decided to cook with my managers a team consisting of Magic guard life orb Sceptile-Mega with no healing, fur coat dozo with both mortal and spin, choice scarf blaziken, and a interesting arc-g icicle plate set, i know the team sounds weird but it works, coming in to this matchup i feel it is pretty balanced for both of us, i assume that hes Simple no retreat Arceus-ghost with Magic guard life orb Etern and Sword of ruin Korai, with the defensive core of Furcoat dozo and the double RegenVest core in Audino-Mega and Steelix-Mega, as the game starts i use imposter to figure out that hes an interesting ice scales set on mega audino, which is a problem for my mega sceptile to breakthrough, making it a mon i should get rid of as soon as possible, nothing much happens besides some switching for a free turns untill turn 23 where i imposter to find out hes a interesting haze final gambit dondozo set with prankster, i think that it really wouldnt be a threat for me in this matchup however tho, some more turns go by untill turn 27, where i made a mistake, staying in with imp on the eternatus and letting my imposter go down for free, in hindsight, staying in had no point so that was just a throw, some turns go by, untill turn 38 where i am able to suprise reveal choice and kill dragonillis koraidon (which was a roll to kill), some more turns go by, in which we both make some sacs to gain a small advantage, im slowly getting hindered down so i try to breakthrough with mega scept which does work however on turn 114 dragonillis dondozo kills my sceptile with final gambit as i was on 1 pp for chloroblast which i needed for audino on couldnt use on it, which eventually leads to stand of :arceus-ground: :audino-mega: vs :steelix-mega: :audino-mega: which i lose.
in hindsight i think i played the early game poorly, there were definetely times where i had just missed the better moves which caused me to lose.

big tony 2014 vs Stolen Identity
:kyogre-primal: :chansey: :greninja-ash: :melmetal: :swampert-mega: :steelix-Mega: vs :dialga-Origin: :audino-mega: :garchomp-mega: :eternatus: :chansey: :Arceus-Fairy:

what a game this was, from the preview we learn that Big Tony 2014 is running v87's rain team, consisting of drizzle mega swampert, 4 water moves specs greninja-ash with mainly water sprout, and dry skin steelix-mega to improof it, the team also has some other unique stuff like tidy up primal kyogre as a sweeper, meanwhile Stolen identity's team looks to be balance of sorts with stuff such as possibly mglo eternatus, setup sweeper chomp, either regenvest dialga-o or mega aud (possibly wandering spirit dialga-o if not regenvest) and imposter, from the preview this matchup looks to be sided in stolen identity's favour as he possibly recognises the team and knows all of the set, his defensive core is also hard for rain to breakthrough, as the game starts stolen identity reveals teleport eternatus which could possibly mean its a defensive eternatus set and manages to escape the steelix-mega's spirit shackle going into chomp which reveals to be Choice Scarf Sword of Ruin with Precipice Blades! and OHKO's the imposter Eternatus which came in a turn before, a bit later we learn that its not regenvest audino but ice scales (iirc) with glare, hinting that the dialga-Origin is indeed regenvest, which is revealed not a little bit later, as the game continues stolen identity has to sac some mons to deal with sure force of greninja-a like eternatus but manages to get a very very important glare on it with mega audino, Big tony 2014 also has to sac his melmetal to be able to take stolen identity's garchomp-mega, as the game goes on for a bit arceus-fairy just comes in and manages to kill three mons of big tony 2014, sealing the deal on this game as mega steelix cannot do anything against being salt cured and chipped down by dialga-Origin
this was a well played game from Stolen Identity as he didnt make any major mistakes, while on the other hand big tony 2014 seemed maybe a bit anxious causing some errors in his play

rightclicker vs MagearnaTheBoss
:Iron Hands: :Arceus-Ghost: :Greninja: :Celesteela: :blissey: :Audino-Mega: vs :Kyogre-Primal::Dialga-Origin: :Arceus-Ground: :Slowbro-Mega: :Greninja-Ash: :Audino-Mega:

upset of the tour fr, from the preview Rightclickers team seems to be solid with mons like possibly double fur coat in hands and celesteela with specially defensive mons like scales audino-mega and regenvest or magic guard blissey, with powerful attackers like Sniper Greninja-Ash and Either setup Arc-ghost or just SNR, meanwhile MTB's team also seems to be "usual" with possibly triple!?! regen core in Dialga-O, kyogre-primal, and Audino-Mega, Fur coat Slowbro-Mega, and possibly Fur coat Arc-ground, and the breaker being ash greninja once again, from this preview i feel like rc has the better team with him having counters to mtb's team like hands and steela for gren and much more, as the game starts blissey manages to knock of dialga-O's assault vest, revealing it was infact regenvest, a couple turns go by untill when rc switches his iron hands into mtb's ash greninja who reveals Magical Torque, which is a bit weird but i guess it works to avoid rocky helmet chip from fc mons like iron hands, working in mtb's favour in this mu, some more turns go by untill mtb trades his ash greninja from rc's iron hands, possibly bec he thinks it wont make progress with celesteela and hands on the field, more turns go by untill turn 29 in which rc correct predicts and uses wicked blow on the incoming fur coat slowbro managing to 2hko it, which gives ash greninja more freedom to use its water stab on arc-ground if needed, more turns go by untill MTB reveals that his kyogre is magic guard!!!, a bit unusual but it seems to work getting good chip on incoming audino-mega and celesteela, on turn 49 rc has to sac his celesteela which in turn also reveals volt tackle on primal kyogre aswell, a few turns of chipping down mega audino with his arc-ghost which is torch song judgement, rc switches his greninja in and gets another prediction right to be able to kill mtb's dialga-origin aswell, on turn 63, this game looks over, as all rc has to do is stall out the fur coat arc-ground with his arceus-ghost, but then MTB REVEALS HE'S ICE SCALES, and he manages to setup to +3 and completely turn around the game and beat rightclicker in a huge upset.
this was a rollercostar of emotions, in the beginning and most of the mid game rc had the advantage, he was playing correct and playing good predicts, but in the end Mtb's unusual sets paid off and managed to beat one of best bh players in omfl. i asked rightclicker as to why he didnt stay in on arc-ground with his Greninja-Ash locked into wicked blow, Rightclicker said that he really didnt expect him to be ice scales, which to be fair i also didnt that was shocking, and he knew that he wouldnt even 3hko the arc-ground with wicked if it truely was fur coat, so he decided not to take the immense risk

BoingK's GG reviews Week 2 edition

:Psyduck: Rei vs a fairy :Oshawott:
:gholdengo::sneasler::primarina::calyrex-ice::great-tusk::rillaboom: vs :ribombee::chien-pao::roaring-moon::serperior::kyurem-black::gholdengo:
Rei brings a Caly-Ice terrain team, featuring the potent Rillaboom - Unburden Fighting-type core. Fairy has brought Kyurem-Black Webs, with Chien-Pao having a notably good matchup if she can deal with Unburden Sneasler, which might be doable depending on the Gholdengo set she has brought.

Rei leads Calyrex into a fairy's Ribombee, and dodges a Stun Spore to safely get a Sub up. However, Webs do go up, at the cost of Ribombee proccing its sash. Gholdengo comes in to take on the Calyrex, revealing itself to be Air Balloon, but Gholdengo is KO'd on Turn 6 anyway, having spammed Recover - Calyrex remains behind its sub with a fair bit of PP left on its main moves .She is now very behind, having traded a mon and a sash to get Sticky Webs up. Kyurem comes in next, barely breaking the sub in exchange for its life. Ribombee comes in again, to no avail as it misses its Stun Spore. Chien-Pao comes in to revenge, but a well-timed Tera saves Calyrex and allows it to knockout Chien-Pao in one hit. Roaring Moon comes in and is finally able to knock the Calyrex out, but the damage is already done. Gholdengo comes in to live a Knock-Off, and Thunder Wave the Roaring Moon down, killing any hope of winning the game. For good measure, Roaring Moon gets full para'd twice as she tries to damage the Dengo. Serp comes in, but Rei simply pivots their Sneasler in with Terrain up, and it can claim the game easily.

A fairy simply didn't know how to deal with Calyrex-Ice in this game. She did get very unlucky with two Stun Spore misses and two full paras towards the end, but breaking Calyrex's sub with Gholdengo should have been paramount, especially when it revealed High Horsepower and we knew that the Gholdengo couldn't wall it anymore. After this the game just snowballs and there is not much else to say. Well played from Rei and a good bring.

:spectrier: Wes8888 vs Cyril tbh :garganacl:
:torkoal::gouging-fire::hatterene::zacian-crowned::great-tusk::raging-bolt: vs :gholdengo::eternatus::samurott-hisui::kommo-o::great-tusk::landorus-therian:
Wes brings Zacian Sun, with Raging Bolt looking to have a particularly good matchup, while Cyril brings a Etern offense structure, with the rarely seen Kommo-O in the SpA slot.

Wes leads her Torkoal into Cyril's Eternatus, and immediately doubles to Proto-Attack Great Tusk on the incoming Sludge Wave, at the cost of the poison status. The Etern reveals Eject Pack and pivots out with Draco Meteor to Landorus-Therian, probably predicting a Headlong or Earthquake, but instead takes a Knock for its troubles. Lando itself then launches an Earthquake, with the incoming Hatterene taking 38% - it reveals to be Eject Button and the Raging Bolt gets in for free, claiming Cyril's Great Tusk on the next turn. Etern comes back in, and Wes chooses to give up her Great Tusk. This invites Raging Bolt back in, but Cyril Tera's away to Flying to just barely live a Draco Meteor, and knocks the opposing Raging Bolt out in turn. From here, Landorus-Therian is pretty much free to spam Earthquake a lot, claiming Torkoal, putting Hatterene in range of an Earthquake knock out, and knocking out the Gouging Fire - Wes has already burned her Tera on Zacian, probably not the most advisable move. Cyril finally reveals Scarf Gholdengo, catching Zacian trying to Swords Dance, and from here it is over.

A well-timed Terastalisation did it for Cyril - without it, Raging Bolt would have picked up the Eternatus and likely killed everything else on the team too. Wes sort of floundered after this point, struggling to find the "correct" switch and throwing her tera away on the Zacian-Crowned, but it does look like a fun team and she played it well up until she lost her Bolt.

:Pichu: dragonphoenix333 vs LouisIX :togekiss:
:heatran::sneasler::Latias::great-tusk::rillaboom::calyrex-ice: vs :weezing-galar::eternatus::roaring-moon::scream-tail::skeledirge::iron-hands:
Dragonphoenix brings Calyrex-Ice with another Rilla-Sneeze core, with this team also featuring a Latias that is probably Grassy Seed buky setup. Unfortunately, they roll an iffy matchup, staring down Skeledirge, which typically stops Unburden sweeps - this might be ok if dragonphoenix is able to chip the Dirge and break it with Tera Flying Acro. The team Louis has brought features a Weezing-Galar as it's main defensive stopgap, alongside Skeledirge. The Eternatus on matchup looks like it should be defensively oriented.

DP leads Rilla into Eternatus, and doubles out to Heatran. Eternatus immediately Meteor Beams in spite of my prediction of its set, and... does it again without its Power Herb? He goes unpunished as Heatran goes for rocks, and protects on the attacking turn. He then chooses to do it again, with Heatran this time choosing to Earth Power. Louis uses Dynamax Cannon doing 55% to the Heatran, and then reveals Recover, attempting to stall the Heatran out of Earth Powers. He succeeds and knocks the Heatran out! Unfortunately:
The opposing Eternatus used Dynamax Cannon!
(Calyrex lost 99% of its health!)
and the Eternatus is knocked out. However Louis is up a few mons now, and Scream Tail comes in and claims the Calyrex. After a bit of positioning, DP gets their Latias in, revealing Grassy Seed Calm Mind immediately. Unfortunately, Scream Tail tricks it a Choice Scarf, rendering it useless for the rest of the game - this looks very dire now. They double back into Sneasler, proccing Unburden. Sneasler uses Swords Dance, living a +1 Boomburst from Scream Tail, and now it looks like there could be something on. Unfortunately, the Sneasler is not Tera Flying Acrobatics and cannot break the Skeledirge, instead attempting to Taunt it, while Skeledirge simply knocks it out. The game is over from this point, especially as the Tusk is already burned, the Latias cannot do anything, and the Rillaboom is walled by the Weezing-Galar. It takes another 12 turns for the final pieces to fall however.

The Sneasler not being Tera Flying felt a bit bizzare to me - you really need the STAB on Acrobatics for you to be able to break Unawares, and although stopping burns and having other coverage is great and all, here it really mattered as the Dirge just stopped all moment DP could garner. Getting Tricked on the Latias was also pretty bad, and overall they just couldn't get any of their sweeps going. Tough matchup, especially when by the time the Sneasler had fallen Louis hadn't even revealed the Hands or the Moon.

Predicts!
Fluore vs LouisIX - Actually think this could be a close one, Fluore is a very good clicker. It just depends on how good the team they load is
Wes8888 vs Lightniong - Wes has a ton of experience with the tier, I don't doubt she wins here
Cyril tbh vs A fairy - If fairy DOESN'T load hyper offense, I will be rooting for her :blobglare:
