hex is having a strong tournament while Hiro80223001 hasn't been so hot; however, Hiro80223001 did notch a pretty dominant win last week, so that momentum could lead to an upset.

SS: Lacks vs Mollymiltoast
Tough to bold against the crazy phenom Lacks. Mollymiltoast also has had some pretty big SS wins this tour so I think this'll be a close one.

SS: Ainzcrad vs veti
I'm not too familiar with Ainzcrad's game, while, if memory serves, veti is a dedicated grinder. I'm gonna guess that veti'll have the advantage in this finals matchup.

SM: Career Ended vs Fdmw
Another close one, but Career is very powerful so I think he'll win.

SM: Charmriah vs Eelektrone
I got folded once by Eelektrone so on that basis I'll bold him. Did I already mention that these are really close matchups?

SM: evakiyama! vs Astoria
Unfortunately I am in the dark about Astoria, and evakiyama! seems to be pretty good at whatever tier they're playing, so I'm gonna bold them.

ORAS: AM vs Django
Very solid performance in this tour by Django. AM has literally centuries of experience and major sauce when it comes to ORAS though, ergo I predict an upset.

ORAS: Hacker vs Insou
I wanted to tribally bold Insou but Hacker's sustained commitment to ORAS over the course of the tournament leads me to believe he has the advantage in this matchup.

ORAS: Maxisc23 vs Avendesora
Despite being familiar with Avendesora's penchant for building fun stuff, the game differential between him and Maxisc23 this tournament leaves the outcome inconclusive for me. Could go either way here but I'll guess Avendesora.

Masters BO3: SKC44 vs Horii
SKC44 importantly managed to crack his loss streak in semifinals, but I'm a bit more familiar with Horii's game and recall him being more consistent.

I have no idea who’s better here, but hex seems like a great SS player, so I’m gonna bold him on vibes.

SS: Lacks vs Mollymiltoast
Again, no clue who's favored, but Molly gives off strong SS’er energy, so I’m leaning their way.

SS: Ainzcrad vs veti
Veti feels like a grinder and someone who’s been putting in the work all tour—gonna root for him here.

SM: Career Ended vs Fdmw
Fdmw is a really solid SM player and has looked clean this tour, so I’m gonna back him.

SM: Charmriah vs Eelektrone
Eelektrone just beat Luigi 2-0, which is pretty huge. That’s enough for me to bold him confidently.

SM: evakiyama! vs Astoria
Leaning toward Astoria here—I think he mains SM? Either way, he’s solid and should show up.

ORAS: AM vs Django
Hard to ignore Django’s 7-0 record—gonna stick with the hot hand here.

ORAS: Hacker vs Insou
Going with Insou because I really like how he plays and the teams he brings. Just a fan.

ORAS: Maxisc23 vs Avendesora
Avendesora is a friend and a super solid player + builder. Heart pick here, but I believe.

Masters BO3: SKC44 vs Horii
Leaning Horii because I think he’s got the stronger fundamentals and more consistent performance overall.

Lacks has been very hard to beat and this just makes sense to me

Veti is my goat, I know she wants this more and her ss prep is insane

SM: Career Ended vs Fdmw
If Alpha whips Fdmw into not bringing dog shit teams, he has quite a high skill ceiling

SM: Charmriah vs Eelektrone
To quote a wise man, “Eelektrone is SMPL bench level for sure”

SM: evakiyama! vs Astoria
Eva is my gal but astoria is much more involved in the tier and I don’t see him not winning this

ORAS: AM vs Django
I know nothing about oras but that’s a very loud record

ORAS: Hacker vs Insou


ORAS: Maxisc23 vs Avendesora
I know that this guy has a v good ingame and don’t know anyth about avendesora

Masters BO3: SKC44 vs Horii
I do know more about horii than his opponent but I think he’s strong in the multigen slot regardless

it's definitely bias but this is the best game of the finals lol, both are super talented and exciting

this guy's super good

boring to predict a finals 5-5, i think reshirams are more likely to flip their losing matchups here.
