I just did, but he was on a fast attack submarine. I'm hoping to get orders to a SSGN. The routine is less arduous on an SSGN but you still get to make port in foreign countries unlike SSBNs.

how did you get into 1v1?
When I lived in Texas, I lived on a farm which entailed a very hectic lifestyle without a rigid schedule. After completing some task, I'd often find myself with downtime in the middle of the day but no way to determine whether this free time would last a minute, or an hour. When trying new sixes tiers after I first discovered Pokemon Showdown, I'd always end up having to quit in the middle of games because I'd suddenly need to go herd cows or something. So it was only natural for me to find a faster paced meta to cope with these irregularities, and VGC is aids, so my logical conclusion was 1v1. After spending about a week in the 1v1 room and getting acquainted with the regulars, I knew it would be somewhere I could stay.
