Welcome to my art thread. I'll be updating this post with my newest artwork in addition to posting it. I've been an avid artist for years now. I took art classes in high school every year. Last year I decided to dive into the realm of digital art. I gave a tablet a trial run, but I never got comfortable using it. It would activate above the pad and other weird things. There might have been a way to change that, but I have pretty much moved on and got involved in other ways to draw. I started off by drawing with a mouse in Photoshop Elements. I would use the zoom tool to increase my accuracy with the mouse. It didn't give me the refined look I would have liked, but I was able to live with the results. Those pieces were done based heavily on references in order to know where I was going with the drawing. It wasn't great for customizing my own poses.

I have recently started drawing in Microsoft Office Word with the curve tool and other preset tools. I get much cleaner lines than drawing with a mouse. In the past I have played around with the preset tools, but it wasn't until I was brainstorming a way to draw a refined looking CAP that I decided to see how far I could push it. I am still learning its full potential and limitations as I continue to work in it. This does not mean I will no longer be using Photoshop Elements to draw, but you can expect to see a lot more updates going in this section from now on. Not only do I get a more refined look, but I also have an easier time drawing in it. I can sketch something on paper and manipulate the tools to have it appear like it was planned. In the future I will probably be drawing Pokemon in Miscrosoft Office Word and adding backgrounds and details in Photoshop Elements.
