It was the year 2008. A loved teenager sat at is computer crunching numbers in his off time; thousands of attacks, weaknesses, and whole pokemon went flying through his head, for he was trying to build the greatest team of his life, while keeping a little originality. Then it struck him, a string of 6 pokemon that should, would, could work well together. and they looked like this:

Sadly the teen's vision was not reached, that's where you come in. Help me in my goal for total domination, without throwing together a team with the common 6.

Holding: Choice Specs
EVs: 252 SpA/252 Spe/6 HP
Nature: Timid
Ability: Natural Cure
~Surf
~Thunderbolt
~Ice Beam
~Trick
The Teenager invisioned a new way of opening the match with the proficiencies of ScarfGar openings dropping because of the lower Hypnosis accuracy. He seen it as an opening to create this, the Death Star. The Death Star has the normal Surf + BoltBeam attacks, but instead of using Rapid Spin or Recovery, he holds Trick, to, in theory, cripple one of the opponents pokemon. If the opening pokemon is something that Starmie just feels like Decimating, the 1.5x Special Attack from Choice Specs help it do loads of damage, and this beast can kill alot of leads.

Holding: Lifeorb (Open for change)
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 6 HP
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Sniper
~Dragon Dance
~Outrage
~Waterfall
~Protect
The Teenager also noted a large change in one of his old favorites, Kingdra. Kingdra now had a very powerful dragon attack known as Outrage, tought to him by some magical tutor guy in the world of Platinum. The Teen plugged his new pokemon into his team, realizing he'd have to play to his best to get the setup allowed for this pokemon to flourish. He put Dragon Dance on the pokemon to allow it decimate opponents after only one, and be near unstoppable after 6. Outrage and Waterfall were placed on the Kingdra aswell, to damage all oncoming opponents, except a few select, with atleast nuetral STAB damage. Protect was added as a filler of the last slot, and was used by the Teen for scouting.

Holding: Wise Glasses
EVs: 252 Spe/252 SpA/6 Def
Nature: Modest
Ability: Speed Boost
~Bug Buzz
~Hidden Power (Ground)
~Air Slash
~Protect
The Teen also realized, with his adolescent brain, that something fast that hit hard would be needed in his team, and he meant REALLY fast. He recalled that a Yanmega with the build shown above reaches 433 speed after the use of Protect. He quickly threw Yanmega into his team and didn't look back. He put 0 EVs in HP, to ensure that Yanmega could switch into Stealth Rocks a whole twice without dying. He put Bug Buzz and Airslash on for STAB, and put Hidden Power (Ground) there to avoid being walled by every steel ever made. Protect was there to boost said speed in a free turn.

Holding: Choice Band
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/6 HP
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Inner Focus
~Extreme Speed
~Bullet Punch
~Close Combat
~Earthquake
Lucario was an unsure addition to the Teen's team. The Teen knew he needed more priority, but didn't know what to add. He asks you all for your help in this slot. Extreme Speed is his first choice at Priority, but is resisted by many. Bullet Punch is resisted by a few less, and can hit ghosts, so that was added to the set aswell. Close Combat and Earthquake, presuming they hit the intended target, will put a large dent in most things.

Holding: Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP/252 SpD/6 Atk
Nature: Careful
Ability: Steadfast
~Drain Punch
~Zen Headbutt
~Shadow Sneak
~Wish
The predicament was this: the Teen needed a physical attacking Special Wall. He had to mix and match and make his own set, coming up with this. Drain Punch, increasing the survivablility of Gallade; Zen Headbutt, a strong STAB to abuse; Shadowsneak, because if he couldn't switch in on Gengar, he could atleast revenge kill him; and Wish, because any real wall needs to beable to heal.

Holding: Black Sludge
EVs: 252 Def/252 SpA/6 Spe
Nature: Bold
Ability: Levitate
~Flamethrower
~Will-O-Wisp
~Hidden Power (Ground)
~Pain Split
The teen had admired this pokemon from afar, wondering why it suffered a lack of popularity. He decided to throw it on his team for the purposes of a physical wall, Scizor counter, Heracross counter, and physical Lucario counter. He was surprised at the success it had. He put Flamethrower and Will-O-Wisp, to work down the pokemon he was chosen to counter. Hidden Power (Ground) to prevent those bullying Heatrans from switching in, and Painsplit to heal Weezing.
More to come...
