this is actually the definition of a nothing read. Like, a really bad one that didn't even attempt to be a good read. He is passively reading everyone as neutral.

because I'm bad at Mafia and I town read tropius so hard. also from what I've seen in others posts, Haruno is scummy? or townie? and both? and i just haven't dedicated enough time or thought to this game in order to be a good commentator
 
I see.

You know, as scummy as Shubaka sounds right now, I'm drawing parallels between them and Sandshrewz, who ended up flipping town. Of course, Shubaka could be using that as a cover, so I wouldn't say they're completely out of the woods yet. I just don't think we should be so quick to lynch them

First comment about a player still alive in the game, mithril/pancakes. Pretty null. Wouldn’t surprise me if she townread a partner at this point. These are her only significant town reads throughout the game.

King, My initial doubts over him have not be cleared up. It is worth noting that this is more of a gut read than whydon and also a read I find less likely.

Twin. So far, the concept of twin being mafia has only been brought up by OM room. however he seems to be trying to lead the town subtly (that is the impression I get). I could see him either way. I also see OM room as being on the opposite side to twin because of his initial action. It could be a maf play of course.

I don’t think she votes a partner here unless I really don’t understand her as a player. Whydon scum arguments don’t make a whole lot of sense unless Haruno is scum too and she just really likes bussing partners.


The Twin read is awful, which makes it more likely twin is town because I think she only scumreads a partner if she has to, and probably only scumreads 1 partner at most here. Definitely not entertaining world of twin+whydon

Continues to clash with twin. Makes twin look increasingly towny because interactions more and more sound like she is trying to plead her case to a townie bothering her than a partner lightly pressuring her. She seems flustered.

Reads like someone told her to soft a cop check on Haruno and she took this as hard claim a guilty on Haruno. Makes Haruno look townier because it seems unlikely that her team would tell her to soft a guilty on a partner; the forced nature of the play makes it seem like something specifically directed.

She has the exact same 3-4 scumreads all game. Whydon, twin, king, and then haruno starting d2 because of the soft. There are 2 mafia max in that list. 0-1 is far more likely.

This is her only interaction with aubisio in the game thread and it only happened because of a prompt. There is a notable lack of interaction between her and shubaka and former hope as well. All of this makes the 3 of them look increasingly scummy. Her only interactions with me are in answering my questions, which is fairly null.

tl;dr: twin looks super towny from it. Haruno looks fairly towny from it. Whydon looks slightly towny from it. oddish looks slightly towny from it. Mithril looks null. I look null. Shubaka, Aubisio, and Former Hope look slightly scummier.
 
Sorry for the inactivity, swamped with school and haven't had much time to check up on this thread.

In my opinion, I currently have Twin as very village. I was originally suspicious of the not wanting to hammer the tropius vote, but it makes sense that they wouldn't want to the day to end so fast. Tropius' constant pushes on Twin also seemed too much like Tropius was trying to push for something against Twin, instead of two mafia interacting with each other.

Don't see much point since we only have two remaining PR's (firefighter is VT now without arsonist). Cop should absolutely claim if they get a guilty since a 1:1 trade is always worth it as this point. I don't see much purpose in woodsman claiming either since we have no watcher/tracker or anything and if they claimed, you could be sure as hell they'd be mafia's next kill if they don't have a hard read on cop. So yeah none of the roles have any reason to claim bar cop if they do manage to turn up a guilty but forcing a cop claim is about as anti town as you get so ehh.

if they had a guilty they should've claimed by now, if not the cop is fucking dumb =/. At worst it becomes a 50-50 CC war if it's a questionable cop or at best it forces a lynch which always works for village.

How does firefighter find out if someone it guilty btw, you've mentioned this several times and it doesn't seem anywhere in the role that it'd do that.

As for how I read you, I probably read you as town since you play similarly to other mafia games where you just try to reckless abandon to apply pressure on users via misdirects/flaming/votes etc.

I don't like it; there's 2 docs alive, one of which can still make saves. We get clears that can win us the game if they get a good protect off. I think that outweighs forceclaim eliminating 1 or 2 as candidates for the lynch today. Claiming should probably happen tomorrow in final 7/8.

It also eliminates potential cops alive and makes it easier for mafia to find the cop.
