NOC a nice basic game of actual mafia - game over - won by the Mafia

I feel like no hosts would actually make a mafia team like this, no offense to anyone. If anything, that wagon just seems to be done out of convenience sake. Faction balance probably isn't a valid argument but that's what I would say for a lump like that.

you keep saying "host would never make this team" thats just stupid thinking resign pls

It's just my personal opinion. Whether other people agree or not is another matter. I would rather individual villagers think for themselves rather than just wagon whatever they get presented with.

Oh yea one more thing I wanted to say, though it's from first person so take it as you will. The probability of both Whydon and me being mafia is really really low. And I'm not saying this to defend either of us. Likelyhood is that either one of us is mafia or none of us.

If we were both mafia then why in the world would we bother having a lengthy convo that only served to make us look worse. No matter how bad we may be at this game it's illogical and near unlikely that mafia would challenge mafia in this manner. Take it as you will if you can see this as me trying to observe as a third party.

If you don't quite agree that's fine with me. Just wanted to bring it up is all so people would stop wagoning both of us at the same time. Too convenient if you ask me.

I personally wouldn't put both me and Aubisio as both mafia either. I was probably the first to observe his lack of reads or whatever. If we're both mafia, I would just overlook that fact rather than bringing him into the radar. If that made any sense too. Though yea there might be cases where it would make sense if we're both mafia, like maybe we deem I have a more important role than aubisio and is worth the risk to put some heat on him instead.

Take it as you wil~

You know what?

That post pinged me and I ISOed Former Hope and he looks a lot worse in a Whydon Town flip than DLE ever did.

Also his content is lacking and it doesn't feel like the lurk town I saw in the last game.

Vote Former Hope

I would look pretty bad I admit if Whydon flipped town, yet I still believe in their guilt.

As for the change of behavior, clearly last game didn't really work so I'm trying to be (more) active than I was that game

So just on this page, I'm noticing that blazade has defended Whydon twice. The first was with king who talked about lynching four people. Then when I mentioned lynching Whydon, who has been in my scum list since d1, they suddenly accuse me and try to take the conversation elsewhere. So Blazade why don't you want Whydon lynched?

I'm starting to get paranoid and suspicious of how easy the Whydon push is. He seems to be a "consensus" scumread because of obvious behavior that no one can really ignore and in my experience these are usually mislynches. Anecdotally I also find this to be more likely when you have people using passive language and dissociating themselves from the lynch or making excuses ("Is there any reason not to do this?" "Hmmm I don't really see any other/better options..." etc) and that those people are the informed scum making excuses for themselves.

Initially I thought Whydon looked bad and I pushed him, but also saw how others reacted to the push and recognized my own bias in the matter.

Unvote Lynch Da Letter El
This guy is acting very similar to fire&ice and the more I think I about the more I dislike his continued push on empoof d1

Not questioning the vote, but could you elaborate on the similarity with fire & ice for the uninformed like me? Haha thanks.

I'm holding my vote till I'm home tonight, which should be in time.

I do find it odd how DLE was so active during D1, and now is mostly lying low. Gonna have to go back through the thread, but I'm beginning to wonder if there's something I missed from them. I'm still leaning town, but I don't think the possibility of them being scum should be ignored.

I think Blazade's insistence in making sure we don't fall victim to groupthink (which I've come to realize is incredibly easy to do in a game like this) is genuine. Lean town.

unvote

Throughout this day sandshrewz has given me no reason to believe he is scum anymore.

I'm going to abstain my vote until I feel obligated to contribute to a vote. I want to see DLE's response to the suspicion that may be possibly forming around him.

Can you explain your decision to unvote Sandshrewz?

I originally voted for them for two reasons: a) they were my main scum read, and b) I wanted to see how they would react. Really they have not done much for me to believe they are scum anymore; they're actively reading and participating in the discussion of the thread, and their lack of involvement is what made me suspect them previously. Maybe they noticed this and changed up their playstyle to get rid themselves of potential suspicion, but other than that they have given me any other reason to continue to believe that they are scum.
