Fatalist sent out Nidoqueen (lvl 100 Nidoqueen ?).
muna sent out Swampert (lvl 100 Swampert ?).
---
Lead-o-queen? It is a lead I don't see too much, but it is already a good start for me. I know it will probably either use Stealth Rock first or switch and I have no way of stopping from doing either of those so I go ahead and set up my own rocks.

Pointed stones float in the air around the foe's team!

Just as I expected. Now I don't know whether he will switch or go for a layer of Toxic Spikes. Swampert is my only Pokemon who is affected by Toxic Spikes so I decided to just hit with my strongest STAB move hoping for the best.
---
Nidoqueen used Toxic Spikes.
Toxic Spikes were scattered around the foe's team!
Swampert used Hydro Pump.
It's super effective!
Nidoqueen lost 75% of its health.
---
That was good for me. Nidoqueen is faster than me so I expect her to set up a second set of Toxic Spikes before she goes down.
---
Fatalist switched in Celebi (lvl 100 Celebi).
Pointed stones dug into Celebi.
Celebi lost 12% of its health.
Swampert used Hydro Pump.
It's not very effective...
Celebi lost 17% of its health.
---
I didn't see that coming. Celebi is the obvious switch-in, but I expected Nidoqueen to finish with the spikes. I know Celebi probably won't use Grass Knot, anticipating my switch, but it is better to be safe than sorry. I switch over to my Scarfed Zapdos, hoping that it can survive whatever Celebi throws at me and retaliate with Heat Wave. I also noticed Celebi has no leftovers which leaves me to believe that it is an offensive Celebi with a Life Orb or a Choice item which encourages me to switch even more since I don't need to worry about Thunderwave.
---
muna switched in Zapdos (lvl 100 Zapdos).
Zapdos is exerting its pressure!
Pointed stones dug into Zapdos.
Zapdos lost 25% of its health.
Celebi used Reflect.
A barrier was formed!
---
Another surprise. I remember writing an analysis for a Dual-Screen Celebi, but it was trashed. It is almost obvious that it is holding light clay. I am expecting Celebi to switch now as it probably knows that I am running a Scarf because of the lack of leftovers recover and Choice Specs Zapdos isn't all that common anymore. I don't know whether it will switch or set up light screen so I use u-turn so I can come out ahead no matter what.
---
Fatalist switched in Nidoqueen (lvl 100 Nidoqueen ?).
Pointed stones dug into Nidoqueen.

Swampert was poisoned by the Toxic Spikes!

Swampert lost 12% of its health.
---
That was an interesting turn. I was able to bring in Swampert again to finish of Nidoqueen while she probably sets up Toxic Spikes. My Zapdos was poisoned by Poison Point, but it can get by that even though Stealth Rock damage and Posion damage will really wear me down so I will likely only be able to get one more switch out of Zapdos. Now I expect Nidoqeen to set up her last layer of Toxic Spikes which I don't care about. I decide to use Ice Beam because of it's ability to KO Nidoqueen and 100% accuracy which Hydro Pump lacks. It can also leave a dent in Celebi if she thinks of switching in again for some reason.

It is obvious that he knows about my scarf, I know it isn't setting up SR like most other Swamperts so it is either a Curspert or a Choice Bander. Either way, I am getting Zapdos out of there either way. If it is a Choice Bander than it will likey be using a STAB waterfall or Earthquake to hit whatever comes in hard. If it is a Cursepert, than I need to bring a strong Special Attacker. I decide to bring in my Special Attacker that resists EQ and Waterfall.

Latias obtained Choice Band!
Scizor obtained Choice Specs!

Ouch! That was not good at all. Not only have I lost my 1.5 SpA boost, but I know this is a CB Scizor, meaning it has Pursuit. I can't do anything apart from use Trick again so I decide to switch out instead of giving Scizor back his Choice Band, knowing that Latias is going to be hit hard with pursuit.

That was predictable, but Latias is still hanging in there because Scizor is stuck with Specs instead of a Band. Reflect finally wore off even though it hasn't really affected me, it means I can bring in some of my physical Pokemon now. First, I am going to set up Stealth Rock again now that Starmie is dead.

This is becoming very bad for me now. There was about a 4% chance of Hydro Pump missing twice in a row and I ended up on the unlucky side of that. Meanwhile it picks up another curse. I decide to continue using Hydro Pump since at this point, I don't really have too many other options Meanwhile, Poison is slowly wearing me down.

I knew I probably should have used Swords Dance, but I couldn't have risked being KO'd by Scizor. Looking back, I probably should have used Swords Dance. If Scizor did stay in, then it would have KO'd me with Superpower, but it would have opened up an opportunity for my DD Mence to sweep. That was a mistake on my part, but I was able to work with it. In between SR and CC, Zapdos got very worn down on that turn. I do the obvious thing and KO it with Extremespeed.

And good old Specszor comes out to try to finish me off. Bullet Punch is the obvious option since it can't afford the -1 attack from superpower. Lucario's resistance to steel lets me take a hit from that and I hope to finish this battle with a Close Combat now. While 1-3 might seem like the battle is over, keep in mind that Zapdos is just a death fodder so in actuality, the score is 1-2.

That was close! Salamence was left at 4% HP after the second Bullet Punch which was the difference in between a win and a loss on my end, keeping in mind that my final Pokemon was a Zapdos who would have immediately fainted as soon as I brought it in, it was really a closer game than the Pokemon count implies.

My Salamence for clinching me the win.
Slops:
Fatalist's Zapdos for doing nothing.
My Metagross for doing nothing except exploding

I knew I probably should have used Swords Dance, but I couldn't have risked being KO'd by Scizor. Looking back, I probably should have used Swords Dance. If Scizor did stay in, then it would have KO'd me with Superpower, but it would have opened up an opportunity for my DD Mence to sweep. That was a mistake on my part, but I was able to work with it. In between SR and CC, Zapdos got very worn down on that turn. I do the obvious thing and KO it with Extremespeed.
---
Lucario used Extremespeed.
Zapdos lost 33% of its health.
Fatalist's Zapdos fainted.
(2-3)
Lucario lost 10% of its health.

Now he sends in Celebi. It is probably going to set up screens which is really all a Dual Screen Celebi can do so I hit it hard with crunch, hoping for some good damage.
---
Fatalist switched in Celebi (lvl 100 Celebi).
Pointed stones dug into Celebi.
Celebi lost 12% of its health.

It's super effective!
Celebi lost 48% of its health.
Lucario lost 10% of its health.
Celebi used Reflect.
A barrier was formed!
---
Most of my Special Attackers are out of the game already so finishing this is going to be tough with reflect up. I go for Crunch to take out Celebi before she can set up Light Screen and completely shut me down.
---
Lucario used Crunch.
It's super effective!
Celebi lost 10% of its health.
Fatalist's Celebi fainted.
(1-3)
Lucario lost 10% of its health.

---

And there are Scizor's underestimated defenses to the rescue. Predictability isn't an issue anymore as Scizor is locked into Bullet Punch so I simply hit it with Extreme Speed to weaken it before I go down.
---
Lucario used Extremespeed.
It's not very effective...
Scizor lost 10% of its health.
Lucario lost 4% of its health.
muna's Lucario fainted.
(1-2)
Scizor used Bullet Punch.
But there was no target!
---
Salamence can take Scizor... hopefully. I was planning on surviving a Bullet Punch before KOing with EQ. Right now, Scizor sits at 26% HP.
---

---
That was not good AT ALL. Scizor survives with 2% HP left and I am forced to survive one more Bullet Punch in order to secure the win.
---
Scizor used Bullet Punch.
Salamence lost 31% of its health.
Salamence used Earthquake.
Scizor lost 2% of its health.
Fatalist's Scizor fainted.
(0-2)
muna wins!
---
That was close!
