ADV UUBL 'Raikou is Kill' Tournament
The people have been asking for it, and now I'm delivering! Raikou has been a controversial element in the tier for as long as it's been legal, with many people (most vocally during ADVLTL I) advocating for a ban. Raikou's presence is incredibly centralizing, requiring players to load 2+ checks in the builder just to not get steamrolled. While there are many Raikou answers in the tier, some people still believe that it's still too overbearing.
This tournament will be a sort of unofficial 'suspect test' for Raikou, to guage if action on Raikou is warranted. Raikou is still legal in normal ADV UUBL games.
Rules
- This is an ADV UUBL tournament with Raikou banned. The challenge command is at the bottom of this post.
- See the ADV UUBL resource post for more information and resources, such as sample teams and viability rankings.
- This tournament is double elimination.
- Rounds will be best-of-3. Players may switch teams in between rounds and battles of the same set.
- Matches will be played on Pokémon Showdown or the SmogTours server.
- Replays must be saved and posted in the thread. Any match win reported without replays will not be counted. This is your only warning.
