The formatting for the speed tiers is as follows:
  1. The first number is the speed of the Pokemon(s)
  2. The Pokemon's name comes second
  3. The third item is the base speed of the pokemon
  4. The fourth item is modifier (if it exists) from the nature
  5. The fifth Item is the EVs
  6. The sixth item is the boosts (this can come from choice scarf and other boosts such as dragon dance and tailwind)
  7. The seventh item if it exists is the IVs for the pokemon, which is by default 31
493 / Rayquaza-Mega / 115 / Neutral / 252 / +1

This is a Rayquaza-Mega, which has 115 base speed. After it has set up a dragon dance, it is at +1 speed, and this set runs maximum speed EVs of 252 with a Neutral nature. Rayquaza reaches a speed of 493.

Random thing: I’d like to see dusk mane as a niche scarfer. It’s a bit slow, but it’s a nifty revenge killer, especially vs mega gengar. It also does pretty well against bandray and unecro. As a side note, it speedcreeps mmy by 1 point. Also: most marshes don’t expect to get outsped by necrozma, so it’s decent vs lo marsh.

We need aerodactyl for rocks and defog. It is a suicide lead that is niche, but is picking up somewhat in popularity. Also, it might be worth making a section for trick room, showing what pokemon can set up and abuse tr.

As you can see, it's a quite competent spikes + rapid spin lead, and its ability Vital Spirit allows it to anti-lead spore smeargle (although I don't have a replay of that, sadly)
The second aerodactyl replay shows it vs smeargle. Also, can't it do reasonably vs baton pass, by just being an asshole that's slowing shit down?

Howdy everyone. I have made something like a set compendium which lists sets for every mon on the VR. All of the sets I used are what I would consider "the most viable options" in my opinion, and I feel that I haven't missed any important ones (consult me if you have something you'd like to add). Why did I do this exactly? Did I want to help people who don't know that running Air Slash MRay isn't optimal? Was it out of boredom? No. Helping people is great and all, and I do hope that people maybe will look back at this post in order to find a useful set for whatever mon, BUT! What I really wanted was to make a decent 100th post, yup. That's kinda all I have to say, now I can change my freaking name

I'd like to add a new speed tier:
341: Naganadel with 252 speed investment and neutral nature.
heres the format:
341 / Naganadel / 121 / Neutral / 252 / +0
yes that is a possible set, esp on webs

I don't think anyone has ever run modest naganadel, it really isn't common enough to get a spot on speed tiers
I mean, let's take a look at the usage stats, and compare it to some of the other mons. About 15% of naganadels are modest variants.
That means that approx. 0.3 percent of pokemon are modest naganadels. This is probably a slight underestimate, since some modest variants may fall under the "other sets" category. For comparison, Slurpuff has about 0.4 percent usage, and alolan marowak has about 0.31 percent usage....
OK you probably have a point here tbh, but it's definitely borderline and if modest naganadel becomes more common, well, watch out!

Dude no one is gonna run modest Naganadel cuz it's outsped by max speed jolly Mray and Arceus. There's literally no point, and therefore, nobody's gonna do it; usage for modest is gonna remain low.

Who runs max speed jolly ray? (usage stats again: ~7% of all mrays). As for arceus, only max+ speed arceus outspeeds it, (as seen in the speed tiers), and that's a bit harder to quantify but fuck it im going to do it for the three most common types, namely Fairy (~13%, but most of the sets arent on the usage list so idk), normal (~18%), steel (8.8% correction ~11%, although there's a weird timid 216 speed set for some reason, someone please explain). As you can see, these are fairly uncommon sets, and the majority get outsped. Incidentally, someone figure out wtf the timid 216 speed set does on steelceus.

Timid 216 outspeeds jolly ray, and banded ray sometimes runs jolly. Also, timid naganadel gets speed from beast boost, whereas modest gets special attack. It can't really beat scarfers and other faster mons like mega gengar and marshadow and reliably sweep if it's modest. There are little to no benefits for running modest over timid on naganadel.

What 'bout if you are running it on webs? Then you don't need the speed boost, and can snowball even better v stall.

Idk what you are reading but when I checked the usage of modest naganadel was 4% which is higher than I expected but still nowhere near 15%

Spreads |
| Timid:0/0/0/252/4/252 82.790% |
| Timid:0/0/4/252/0/252 5.386% |
| Modest:0/0/0/252/4/252 2.143% |
| Modest:4/0/0/252/0/252 2.126% |
| Timid:4/0/0/252/0/252 1.751% |
| Timid:0/0/0/252/0/252 1.094% |
| Other 4.711%

And if we were to use your comparison to other mons usage thing that would put it at around the same usage as ludicolo and probopass
