To the person who said the only thing Flygon has over Chomp is U-Turn--it also gets Roost. In response to the thread, Clefable. So many possibilities...
 
Metagross wins it for me, I guess. Huge Attack and Defence, Great SpA and SpD and a usable speed stat. Not the greatest movepool but he gets the move he needs - Grass Knot is a particularly lovely addition.

Yup...there's very few Pokemon who can survive Metagross' attacks and pose a threat to him at the same time.

He's also one of the few OU's I actually enjoy using. :)

I personally run sub/screech/eq/dragon claw flygon.

I like the sound of that set actually.
 
I'll go with Dusknoir.

Mainly used as a wall but it has 100 base atk with elemental punches. It can also run a calm mind set surprisingly well.
 
Lucario although lacking Speed. It can run anything. Special Sweeper, Specs, Banded, Calm Mind+Substitute, SubPunch, SD, EnduRev, Me First, Agility, etc. Lol, it's endless. Pretty much like Salamence, however.
 
Arceus in ubers, obviously.

In OU, I'm saying Bronzong. Trick Room, double Screen, Stealth Rock, Calm Mind/Block, a decent number of attacking moves on both sides of the spectrum, Rest+Sleep Talk... it's really versatile.
 
lucario can't take a hit worth poo. he's a very versatile attacker, i'll grant, but he can't be considered an all arounder since his support options are rather...nonexistant....

as for another all arounder...anyone give pidegot a try? it's not going to work in the upper tiers obviously, but down where it belongs, it's an unpredictable little bugger. i honestly think the best use of it would be its capabilities for special attack, since none of the other birds can boast that ability (and don't say togekiss, that is NOT a bird). maybe a life orb set with air slash, hidden power ground/fighting, roost and one of the more support options...tail wind/u-turn/agility/toxic/thief/etc...

definite gimmick, but you might surprise people with a spAtk boosting nature and life-orb damage...


except unfortunately, pidgeot sucks...
 
Celebii and Jirachi can do everything! They have 100 base of every stat.

Celebii can baton pass SD, Calm Mind, Substitites, etc. It can Sub Seed. It can run a Specs set. It can wall, it can status stuff, and it has natural cure (very good ability)

Jirachi isnt as versatile as Celebii, but it can tank, set up screens, wish pass, and attempt a sweep with Charge Beam and stuff.


However:


Salamence is the most versatile pokemon of all time. With decent defenses, intimidate, and over 350 of both offensive stats, SalaMENACE can destroy things if you mispredict it's set. It's offensive movepool includes Dragon Claw/Pulse/Meteor, Flamethrower/Blast, Hydropump, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Brick Break, Aerial Ace, Thunder Fang, Fire Fang, you name it, it has it. It gets DD (the best stat-upper) by breeding. Also, Salamence can Wish pass is you have the NYPC version.
 
zapdos is allrounder with about 8 sets these 4 work good
Scarf Zapdos is common lead,
Sub Roost fun pressure abuse,
baton pass is scary,
restalk is always reliable

Celebi and Shaymin...ALL ROUNDERS? Yeah and Manaphy ain't uber under the rain, has 3 acid armors up, 3 amnesias up, 3 tail glows up and can rest off the minimal damage and status while throwing STAB surf and ice beam like crazy =]
