Metagame Alphabet Cup

Hitmonlee @ Choice Scarf / Normalium Z
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Head Smash
- Knock Off / Hyperspace Fury
- Head Charge / Hold Hands

If Speed isn't an issue, Hone Claws could help with accuracy.

Sawsbuck @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Shift Gear
- Stomp
- Sacred Fire
- Spore/Horn Leech/Shadow Bone

Togekiss who?

Lycanroc-Midnight @ Normalium Z
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Lovely Kiss
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge
- Land's Wrath/Leaf Blade

100% accurate sleep that actually works on grass-types, plus a speed boost. Swords dance on the switch, then sweep with pseudo-EdgeQuake. Seemed like a better idea than Grasswhistle Golurk.
Maybe you could use max investment in HP & Spd along with Adaptability + Extreme Evoboost + Explosion (or Eruption if you want to troll) but other than that, it's no use since Baton Pass is not allowed. Besides, since everybody uses E-Spd with E mons, it can get predicted rather easily. Do you have any replay of this being used competitively?
I've used Eevee on my only team, on the username Soul Dew Latias, and I've gotten pretty high up with it. Here's a replay with a basic idea of Eevee's purpose.
Hyperspace Fury only works on Hoopa-U.
Ooh, never knew that. Damn, I was about to use Dark Void on this next set too, but it turns out that has the same restriction for Darkrai ;_;

Doublade @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Claw
- Shadow Sneak
- Dynamic Punch / Drain Punch

Dynamic Punch is the obvious choice with No Guard, but Drain Punch actually gives it recovery for once.

Breloom @ Choice Band / Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant/Jolly Nature
-Bullet Seed
-Rock Tomb
-Mach Punch / Bullet Punch / Bite / Bug Bite / Spore

Bonemerang, with Technician, is a 150 BP move that breaks through Substitutes, Sturdy, Disguise, etc. and has perfect neutral coverage with Bullet Seed and Rock Tomb, with the exception of Bronzong, other grass/fighting types, and some air ballooners.

By the way, how viable is Cotton Guard on Chansey?

I would just like to say as much as I enjoy this meta, I think Chatter is uncompetitive. There aren't many good users, but Celesteela and Chansey (maybe some others?) can both use it to turn games into luckfests, and I think the move is just simply annoying. It means when you switch in something to Celesteela, you have to be ready to play a game of chance, even with the confusion nerf. I would remove Chatter from the meta for sure.
Ban emolga pls. electrify motor drive is horrible
oh i dont think i like this very much.
i mean, emolga is annoying, but it's not like it has lightning rod and boosts an attack every turn. it'll just end up pp stalling and then failing to kill anything relevant because it's emolga. it also cant touch priority, so i cant really justify banning it. i guess it stays for now unless there's a ton of public outcry.

Call of Winter

Banned deucer.
Ban emolga pls. electrify motor drive is horrible
As someone who considered how useful Motor Drive Emolga with Electrify could be when I was making a team a week or two ago, I hardly think it worth banning. There's plenty of ways to deal with it, especially around the fact you can't spam electrify. Toxic, priority, any way of preventing set-u (taunt, whirlwind/roar, etc). Even disregarding that, as jrm said, it's not boosting an attacking stat, just speed. Most that's going to do after a point is boost electro ball which is easily walled by any ground type ever.
Evee would have been useless if that Registeel had Roar, which it should run to not be setup fodder.
I've seen many Registeel run Roar, but not all of them do. It's not 100% necessary to run a viable Registeel set. I figured it didn't have it because it didn't use it first turn, so I took advantage of it. And it would still have been far from useless, because Adaptability E-Speed would have been fantastic for cleaning up the rest of his team, even without the boosts. It does good chunks to things like Thundurus. Sure, it's not the absolute greatest mon in the format, but it's still not to be taken lightly. The point I'm making is that Eevee is better, and can be viable if played correctly. I just wanted to point it out, as I felt it was worth bringing up.
A group of friends and I are having a tournament of games on the tier- would posting a large amount of replays here be allowed/appreciated?

EDIT: Got a couple of likes, will just edit them into this post and throw them in a spoiler. Will update as the tournament goes on. This is the tournament, if anyone cares- I'm Flame.
