or pokemon A switches out from venusaur, and tricks black sludge onto something else when venusaur is gone.

all of your pokemon want to keep their items. if a tricker receives black sludge, it's going to want to get rid of it, and none of your other pokemon want that. if a tricker gets leftovers, it probably isn't going to give leftovers to kingdra or sawsbuck or darmanitan. also, there is no reason for the tricker to stay in on venusaur once it uses trick, especially if it is going to get BEATEN by venusaur. venusaur doesn't have shadow tag or anything... so it can, you know... switch out. and you might not kill it! also, if they tricked a choice item onto venusaur in the first place, they probably need to limit it to prevent it from sweeping them, so they aren't going to just trick black sludge directly back onto it. that would be stupid.

lol, I know that, but basically I'm not going to give them the chance to set the trick up on something else, it's all a prediction game, they switch out, I switch out, rinse and repeat

regardless, this isn't getting my team any better, Trickers are a very rare commodity and I haven't had any problems with them so far...

This set really pisses off opponents. Power Swap switches your stat changes with your opponent. This counters stuff that usually set up like Conkeldurr and Reuniclus. You also switch over the Overheat -2 SpAtk which cripples special sweepers and Overheat does decent damage under sun without any EV at all.

note: until the newest set, I was faster than Politoed, so I could Hypnosis without a problem [if it hit]

hey great team as i have learnt out first hand.
I really think you could use a dual screens claydol although i dont know how you would fare against taunts then. Screens could really help your set up sweepers like kingdra and sawsbuck boost and then sweep and also just raise your defences a little more as you say you need a stronger wall, probably something like this:

EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Rapid Spin
- light screen
- Stealth Rock
- reflect

Politoed doesn't need to be awake to cause problems for you, he just needs to follow ninetails everywhere.

@Razza - perchance, but like you said, Taunt users would absolutely ruin me...
Although Claydol isn't much of an offensive one to begin with...
