Project Anything Goes CLC (Season 2)

Congrats to Drakus04 for winning with a rating of 1813! It appears this core was a bit difficult so the next one will be easier. Sorry for the delay!

Time for a classic AG core dating back to the ORAS AG days, Skarmory + Ho-oh! Skarmory checks physical attackers while Ho-oh checks special ones, and while some pokemon such as Kyogre-Primal and Arceus-Rock can break through, the two do a fantastic job. Good luck laddering!

Here are some teams if you're lacking inspiration:

Fun little balanced team I threw together really quickly. It has some obvious weaknesses like ogre but its manageable. Banded ray just destroys the low ladder so easily, use it to get silver in no time.

The gengar stall team that was used a few times in ompl. I made a few adjustments to it, like waterceus>groundceus to better handle eruption don, fully spdef chansey to give you a better chance vs ogre and z-dark ttar so you can ohko deo-s lead after sand and limit it to 1 hazard (otherwise you have to play mindgames with gengar and taunt, and its a big issue if they have psycho boost). Didn't run into any deo-s though so probably wasn't necessary. This team still has major issues though and can really struggle against cheese but thankfully i didn't run into any of that.

This week's core was suggested by AG RO pichus! Ditto has been an interesting pick in the meta for a while, and Mega Sableye being a passive mega greatly benefits from Ditto being able to revenge kill threats.

ALSO BTW THIS CORE SUCKS. Please at least give us a choice between a more balanced/stall core and a more offensive core. I know you want to make things hard, but for the love of god give us cores that actually work and have been proven. I would suggest if you want something a bit offbeat to do, say, a regular kyogre+zygarde-c core or something with heatran.

interesting core, not very good for grinding on the ladder though since mega-sableye is just way too passive. Here's the team I used:
https://pokepast.es/e4b6325f5648c965

I basically just took pichus team and changed rockceus and ferro since i hate those two mons, they are just way too passive. Also changed the ho-oh set since I found myself never clicking curse anyway. This clc+ the previous one have made me realize just how insanely good ho-oh is, I was skeptical at first of its rise to A+ on the vr but now i think it fully deserves it.

Ho-Oh + Umbreon

This weeks core features one of the best defensive wall in AG and a decent specially defensive wall in Ho-Oh. Umbreon acts as the cleric and walls physical threats like Ultra Necrozma and Ekiller. Ho-Oh takes care of the special attackers and removes the hazards for Umbreon. While some threats like Primal Kyogre do break this, these 2 go pretty hand in hand and form a solid core.
