Have you ever wondered how you ranked amongst the NU playerbase? As each metagame evolves, your ability will adapt will be tested amongst yourself and others.
To begin with, everyone will be placed in random groups in which you need to prove that you are worthy of promotion into a higher group (and a higher calibur) of players. There will be three chances at proving your skill throughout each stage – First chance during the start of a new stage (to get you geared up for NU) Second chance will be part way through a stage and one last chance when a stage comes to a close. If a stage takes an especially long time to come to a close or the tier shifts bring no changes, and then there would be an extra chance or two to move up. Each round will last approx. 2 Weeks, giving you plenty of time to get the matches done!
Ttl;dr – Each round will open up about once a month (Assuming a 3-month usage shift). Unless there is a suspect test – then times and chances will vary. Then a top cut per group will move up, and the bottom cut will lower a group.
What’s the point in entering this, FM? Glad you asked! With this, you can pinpoint not only where you are in terms of skill level amongst everyone else who plays the tier – but you’re also displaying talent you may have to prove yourself next year’s to get drafted onto a team for SPL! (There’s also the bragging rights)
I want be able to get some replays for this and see what sort of metagame evolution takes place – so please make sure you save and post them!
To enter, simply post that you are in! Remember you’ll be in for the long haul. I you wish to join up at a later date – then by all means do so. You’ll be introduced into the system in a group befitting your known skill level.
