Are you using the best Gliscor?

Boy I love you for posting this =D

Although I've been using a LO Jolly SD Gliscor, 34HP/252Atk/224Spe. I go for 310 Speed so I can be assured I outspeed CM Jirachi and Jolly Lucario. Also a side note that my HP reaches 299 which brings less LO recoil damage (I believe). But I see this and think that I can revamp the spread I have to make it more defensive, sacrificing attack for some more physical bulk. I guess I can use this as a reference.

Yes, skiddle obviously your spread > my spread. Jolly should only be used if you have a massive SD Lucario weakness or something and wouldn't want to take the chance of getting pwnt by Ice Punch/HP Ice (wow I can't beleive HP Ice is still an option besides Specs). But I still like to use Jolly for personal preference.

I fucking love this Gliscor, it's funny how so many Gyarados switch into this thing and die to Stone Edge (yes I have Hyper Cutter). I will say now that SD Gliscor is very threatening against Offensive teams, but not so much against Stall teams. Yeah yeah immune to them Spikes and T-Spikes and Sandstorm, but it still doesn't bring the power you need to KO Skarmory or even Hippo (from experience). SD Gliscor does require support, most notably Scarf Zone or hell simply the standard sub one.

Ha, also a side note that Brightpowder Sub Gliscor can be very threatening on paper, but I still like the recovery in Roost better, as well as the ability Hyper Cutter much better than Sand Veil.

One more thing. Yes, I am using the best Gliscor <3

I began using this Gliscor set when you first posted, and it's been a mainstay ever since. I like Stone Edge on it best, since you can switch into and take out Salamence after SR damage. It's for that reason (along with Gyarados) that I run Hyper Cutter over Sand Veil, so they can't switch into me either.

Great set. I hope it sees more use thanks to the bump.

Nice set... though no mention of Yache berry?
It can be very useful especially since you have roost for recovering HP anyway.
Even standard vaporeon (273 sp.atk ) does a max of 238 damage with ice beam, could easily get you out a pinch numerous times.
I would always go with hyper cutter and Stone Edge.

This is a dumb rule. I didn't see this thread in August, but I saw it now, since it was 'necro'ed, and found it to be helpful and interesting. "No posting in old threadz" as a blanket command is lame and unhelpful. The bad necros are the ones where the new post is "lol guyz this thread r teh kool", when the thread was bad to begin with. That's not the case here.
