What do you mean by edit?

If you mean by inserting the Pokemon onto the Shoddy Battle server, DougJustDoug creates a patch and applies it onto the CAP server. You can log on and play with them there. If you want to create your own, this isn't the place to ask for it. It requires some programming skills and you'll need to use Java and the Shoddy Battle Source Code, and I'm pretty sure Doug isn't up to giving lessons.

If you mean the actual process of creating the Pokemon and moves, we have the process down on the EnCAPlopedia sticky. Please refer to that.

We decided to ditch it as there really was no point to making pokedex entries, and just seemed to slow down the CaP projects.
 
Simple answer: it's unnecessary and it took up time. We didn't use them for anything, so we eliminated them from the process.
 
The PR thread Splitting The Vote was concluded but I am unclear as to whether the Discussion Thread would be opened at the same time as the Poll Thread or whether the Discussion Thread would be open for a day or two before voting starts. darkie's OP was unclear on this.
 
When ever Doug has time, its not that hard to unban it on the ladder. He's probably going to restart the server right after he restarts SU's.
 
Syclant's sprite is fine as it is, as of now we have absolutely no intention of respriting it. There is no need to do so, unless suddenly we somehow lose all of the existing copies of the sprite. KoA did a good job with it.

Concepts are chosen on a subjective basis by the amount of support they receive. It is possible that your concept just wasn't popular.

CAP makes Pokemon built for the OU environment. So, something that's meant to play in UU isn't really applicable. Better luck next time, though.
 
Here's a question:

How does the CAP community deal with the suspect tests coming from the smogon server? It seems that in the CAP metagame a suspect test would have gone differently thanks in part to all the psychic weaknesses flying around.

If Latios ends up OU on smogon, (probably not), will the decision to unban it on CAP at least be put up to a vote on these forums?

CAP follows all Smogon tiers. Sometimes, it takes a little longer to get tiers updated on the CAP server, but we do use the same OU tier as Smogon (plus the CAP pokes, of course).
 
I know that if you have an idea for an art submission but want someone else to draw it, you don't commission for an artist on the art ideas thread. Where is the appropriate place to do that?
 
i just started up on lc last night, and in the january stat spread they stated that krow is banned. are there any other bans on there i should know about?

These are too strong for normal play.

Meditite, Murkrow, Scyther, Sneasel, Yanma, Tangela.

Additionally the item DeepSeaTooth is banned. This only affects Clamperl
