Nope. If I remember correctly, Explosion simply halves defense to calculate the damage done by the Explosion. The actual defense of the pokemon doesn't change.
 
Can somebody please tell me the egg hatch code and the Iv check code for AR and how to use them. Like holding down L+R or whatever.

Would you teach a Torterra Bullet Seed? Is it possible to power up Bullet Seed?
 
30 in attack and 31 in Defense are the highest. anything that ends in a 1 or 6 in Defense is Capable of taking Hits. Any IV in Attack that ends in 5 or 0 will give Prouf of its Power.
 
Oh ok. When you stated in your last post to anser my question. Should his IV's be around 26/31/31/27/24/30 to get Capable of taking hits? Is this right?
 
It could be 0/0/1/0/0/0 just as easily. But if you're breeding and you're trying to pass down a 31 in Defense it's likely a 31. It doesn't say anything about other iv's though. Use Metalkid and like, 10 rare candies. It's really easy.

But would the one I gave give it that personality? Nintendo has made the game a lot more complicated.
 
The one what that you gave it? And not really. If you want a more detailed explanation of characteristics and breeding in general, read X-Act's breeding guide, which isn't too hard to find.

Yes, the one you gave could give it that personality. The other possible one a Pokémon with those IVs could have is 'Likes to thrash about' because its Attack and Defense are tied for the highest IVs.
 
On Serebii, are moves that are listed under a Pokemon's Level Up moves that have a dash in the level column Heart Scalable or how does that work?

For example, I breed a Buneary, evolve to Lopunny. Buneary doesn't have Mirror Coat listed as a level up move, but Lopunny does as one of those dash level ones. Can I use Heart Scale on Lopunny to learn Mirror Coat?
