Manaphy was also banned for the easily abused hydration ability which heals it's status at the end of a turn in the rain.
This made a very difficult combo to beat when combined with rest.

Quite.
But many things can serve as revenge killers. Anything named garchomp or anything that has a +1 priority move (Extremespeed lucario) can serve this role.
 
What are egg moves I should be giving my Impish Machop? Right now its Close Combat and the 3 Elemental Punches, that sufficient?
 
If you're going impish, get rid of close combat. the whole point is to beef up defense, not lower it! If you must have another egg move, go with bullet punch cuz priority moves are always good, especially on slow guys like champ. What ability are you shooting for? I would do dynamic punch for no guard and it might be REALLY fun to mess around with a sleeptalker guts set.
 
Hmm... I was wondering what pokemon you "don't need" to complete your pokedex. I know Arceus is one of them, but I was wondering if it's the same deal with Shaymin too.

Apart from Shaymin (and Arceus), I've got access to every single pokemon in the game, and I'm very close to completing my pokedex. But I'm going to be rather annoyed, if when I transfer my ranch mew after getting 1000 pokemon, the game tells me "sorry, no Shaymin, no star".

So, here's the bottom line:
Do I need Shaymin to complete my pokedex?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, it must be either a glitch or they've got them to fix their post count like that, I find it weird that it contains only the numbers 0, 1, and 3. It's almost like a code.

Anyway, a Pokemon's nickname can be up to 10 letters on English versions if I counted right.
 
I have a question regarding the legitimacy of bred pokemon...

You hear everywhere that hacked parents = hacked babies. (Which makes sense) However, is this actually detectable in the offspring during hack checks?

The reason is, I have gotten some pokemon off the GTS, and my pokes have interbred and and interbred too many times to remember. If one of those pokemon happened to be hacked and I've used it as a parent before, then my whole hoard of bred pokemon could be tainted. :-/

This is like asking... would Kyogre be uber if it didn't have any EVs.

Flareon will never be broken, because no fire type is.
Not even Ho-oh. Flareon's movepoop is already bad.

I apoligise... that should be movepool.
 
What is exactly "obi mode"?

For what I've read is a strategy made by obi in double battle...

And what about husk's team?
