Unless you manage to repeatedly heal fully while using Recycle, but I can't think of an instance where this would be the case.

toothache stated otherwise on IRC today (you can actualy use the sash multiple times provided you get back to 100% every time), someone clearing this up would be nice

i have a team of scarf togekiss, scarf heracross, specs shaymin, sash weavile, a mixpert wall, and a forretress.
the forretress seems to never be able to set up well enough, and he just sits out most of the time (i have played 6 battles in the past few days and i haven't had to bring him out).
the question- what wall can replace forry? and please, don't give other suggestions for the team, i just want to know one wall.
im considering a curselax because he can take special hits REALLY well, which my purt can't, and curselax has always done good for me when i used him in past battles.
this hasn't been answered yet.

Yeah, that's what I said. You'd need to get back to 100% each time. Or are you saying that the Sash auto-regenerates, where I believe it needs Recycle to do so?

Is there a way you can delete a team on shoddy?

When you save a team you created it is saved to your computer (harddrive or where ever you chose to save the file). To delete a file from your computer just locate it and right click delete or drag it to the recycling bin in windows.

The Focus Sash isn't used up, unlike a berry, it still stays as a (mostly useless) held item, which is why it can be used multiple times. The only way to completely remove a Sash (besides KOing an opponent) is with something like Trick, Knock Off etc. Embargo renders it useless for the duration too.

So, theoretically, if you could Rest after taking the hit and get it healed with something on your team using Aromatherapy, all that's lost is the PP of the moves used?

If you wanted to use Rest on a Focus Sasher, then it would indeed be possible to activate a sash multiple times (however in a real battle that would be impractical or feasible)

I still kind of don't understand why Grass Knot is preferred on Sceptile. I don't want to have one that I feel isn't the standard, but isn't Energy Ball better for his purposes? With a BP of 80, STAB up to 120, wouldn't that really kill just about anything I'm wanting to kill anyway? ie Suicune, Milotic, Swampert,...? I was under the impression that Grass Knot was reserved more for Pokemon that didn't have a STAB on Grass attacks.

Well, to be honest most of the things that are weak to Grass and used in the OU environment are really heavy, so you'll almost always see a BP of 80 or more. In that respect, Grass Knot is technically better than Energy Ball because it will do 80 or better against everything on OU. The main exception, of course, is Vaporeon, which takes base 60 from GK. Energy Ball is probably better in UU where there are lot lighter things floating about, so you'll get little to no extra power out of GK, or something like Little Cup where everything is light. Uber environment does have Groudon/Kyogre which take more from Grass Knot, but also Manaphy which takes 20 BP from GK.

Remember, the heavier the target, the more they take from Grass Knot.

Shedinja's Focus Sash only works once and it always has 100% HP, meaning that it does only activate once.

But thats Shedinja. You can't heal Shedinja's HP, since it is always at 1 or 0. The point still stands, a Focus Sash is not used up like a berry would be, it just sits there as a useless item, until it gets to a situation where it can be used again.

What's the standard EV spread for Starter Spiritomb? (Sucker Punch/Pursuit/WoW/Pain Split)
I would check on the site, but I get internal server error :/

The Focus Sash does get used up, if you were to activate your Focus Sash, and check, your pokemon would no longer be holding it, also when it's used ingame the Focus Sash is gone, otherwise there would have been ways to exploit that it stays.

Second this ; my brother lost his first Focus Sash by using that pokemon in normal gameplay.

Getting on the D/P Dex (Momentarily) - idea from Llamalord13 on nsider2

Smogon's URLs are pretty simple, right?

www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/[insert pokemon name here]

Well, go to google, and type that url (I'll use Deoxys)

So in teh search bar, type:

www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/deoxys (or whatever pokemon you'll use)

It should then popup with the first choice being that page. Don't click the Title, but click (next to the short description) Cached. It should do one of 2 things:

Open a cached page OR
enter a new google search.

What happened to me was it made a new Google search, with this enter in as the search:

cache:REdDJXwruXoJ:www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/deoxys http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/deoxys

Make it (delete everything except the cache:URL) so it reads:

cache:www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/deoxys (or w/e poke you want)

it should then open a cached page.

You're welcome

BUT REMEMBER, IF YOU WANT TO CLICK A LINK, YOU HAVE TO COPY THAT LINK, GO TO GOOGLE, AND DO THE "cache:URL" THING

kthnx
