Except it can't breed with Gastrodon. It can however, get Counter and Mirror Coat by breeding with something like Swampert or Blastoise.

Nope. Because when you Purify the Pokemon, it may or may not have that move. For a full list, see here. (Search for "72) What are all the moves the shadow pokemons learn when they are purified?" on that page.)

Ok know I get what your saying I think. Your saying that sometimes the poke learns an egg move and a purify move when it is purified, so its possible to have some egg move combination with purify moves because the egg move was also a purify move.

Then why post if you're only 99% sure.

Question: Subs break if the move used against it does enough damage to take away 1/4 of the owner of the sub, correct? If the move doesn't deal enough damage to break the sub, will it break it the next turn if it deals about 50% of the 1/4?

If you don't understand I'll do my best to re-phrase it.

I checked I just didnt want to be flamed for there being some retarded way of getting it like purify or something, your answer on the other hand wasent of any real help.

Also if I interpert what your saying right then it would be yes. Im thinking you mean I hit a blastoise in a sub with earthquake not doing 25% and then I use tbolt doing more then 50% which then all it would do is break its sub.

Correct; though that move isn't the purification-exclusive move, some Pokemon get certain egg moves when purified.

An example of an interesting move like this is Shellder's Take Down attack, unobtainable in any other way, yet, an Egg Move, so it can be passed from the purified Pokemon to other descendants.
 
In battle with a Shiny Moltres, and almost out of the few Luxury Balls I scrounged up for the battle preparations. Having plenty of each, should I go for Premier or Poke, should the Luxury Balls run out?
 
My Skarmory doesn't have Drill Peck or Brave Bird, and I forgot to breed it with either or. I'm too lazy to start over, since it's done being EV'd and all, so here's my question..

-Roost
-Whirlwind
-Spikes
-Stealth Rock / Taunt / Pluck / Toxic (which of these would you suggest?)
 
if i were using exp share, and killed a fearow, would each pokemon get 2 evs in speed or would one get 1 ev and the other gets 1 ev?
